A Single hooded and masked man stood in front of the camera. A battered and rusted rifle in his hands as he spoke. His eyes blocked by thick sunglasses.
"People of Madagascar, and the international community. The time has come for a revolution in our country. Over the last few days our people have been beaten, tortured and killed by the Armed Forces of this nation."
The man stops to hold up giant pictures of the beaten and tortured faces of the captured from a few days ago in North Madagascar. Including the children that had been beaten.
"This government has abandoned us to the great virus, it has disappeared for months while it's people have starved to death. The economy is more focused on provided weapons of war than providing the bread and water it's people crave. We are here today in the captured city of Ambilobe to say that this is the new birthplace of the socialist revolution! We will bring peace and harmony to this country with a government that looks after the people! Not the pockets of the capitalists and the elites.
But we need your help! We need our country to rise up against the brutality that our government is inflicting on us! Men, prepare your weapons and head to this city to launch our revolution!
For the countries and Global Assembly, our people are suffering and under great pains. Please, provide us with the arms and supplies we need to take on the illegitimate government in the South. We need weapons to counter their tanks and aircraft and food to feed our fighters and families. Your kindness will not be forgotten when we claim our rightful rule of this nation.
For the Revolution!"
The message ends, played across social media and the highjacked local news station across Madagascar.
