VDV Paratroopers would be issued the following equipment in general per Platoon of 28 men. 13 armed with AK-74M assault rifles, 9 AK-74M 30 round magazines loaded with standard FMJ ammunition. 3 are armed with AKS-74U Carbines, 9 AKS-74U 30 round Bakalite magazines loaded with standard FMJ Ammunition. 3 are armed with RPK-74M light machine guns, 6 45 round RPK-74M magazines loaded with standard FMJ ammuntion. 3 are armed with AKS-74U Carbines, 9 AKS-74U 30 round Bakalite magazines loaded with standard FMJ Ammunition, and 1 RPG-27 disposable rocket launcher. 4 are armed with AK-74M assault rifles, 9 AK-74M 30 round magazines loaded with standard FMJ ammunition, 1 GP-25 Kostyor, 2 VOG-25 grenades, 2 RGN hand grenade, 2 Smoke Grenades, 1 red marker grenade. 1 would be armed with a SVDS sniper rifle, 6 10 round magazines with standard FMJ ammo. 1 would be armed with a AK-74M assault rifle, 9 AK-74M 30 round magazines loaded with standard FMJ ammunition, 1 Makarov pistol, 2 8 round magazines wiit FMJ ammo. Equipment also applies to the Mechanized Infantry.
Parachute-Airborne Companys are each given a single NSVS-12.7 heavy machine gun on a low profile tripod.
Air-Assault Companys are given 6 9M113M Konkurs-M ATGM Launchers each and instead of RPG-27 are given RPG-29 with three extra missiles each which are carried by an assistant.
Mortar Battery units are given 12 2B14 Podnos mortars each.
Grenade Launcher Platoons are given 6 AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers
Anti-Air Platoons are given 9K38 Igla MANPADs instead of RPG-27s and with two extra missiles each
All VDV Paratroopers would be equiped with VSR-93 Uniforms in the appropriate season configuration. They would also wear
6B5-15 Vests complete with inserts. For helmets they wear SSh-68M helmets with the added kevlar liner. Each is equipped with a assault pack/rucksack with 2 days of rations. Each has two canteens of water. Each is given a Plash Palatka. Platoon HQ units are equipped with long range man portable radio transceivers. Equipment also applies to the Mechanized Infantry.
The 1080th Air Transport Regiment with it's 60 aircraft would begin to in a orderly fashion get ready for the long trip ahead of them. Ground crews would one at a time fuel each aircraft wile pilots were briefed on their mission. In the end each would have a full crew and be fully fueled. 40 of the aircraft would be prepared to accept the 5544 troops of the 498th, 499th, 500th, 175th, 656th, 728th, 1682nd, 7th, and 3996th Airborne Battalions as 40 of these aircraft have a capacity of 5600. The remaining 20 would handle 40 out of 297 vehicles of the battalions. The 20 would take all of the vehicles of 498th Battalions which is 33 vehicles in total. The remaining capacity of 7 vehicles would be taken from 499th Battalion.
6972nd Air Superiority Regiment would ready the 2nd Kursk Squadron and 4th Kursk Squadron for deployment. Fueling up and arming up their MiG-29M and MiG-31M aircraft with Pilots being briefed while ground crews scrambled to get each aircraft ready in 10 minute intervals. Each of the 15 MiG-29M would be armed with 1 × 30 mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-1 autocannon with 150 rounds, 4 x R-73E, 2 x R-27R, and 1 x Kh-31P on the fuselage. Each of the 15 MiG-31M would be armed with 4 x R-60MK, and 2 x R-40RD.
387th Ground-Attack Regiment would activate 1st Voronezh Squadron and 2nd Voronezh Squadron. All 30 of the Su-25TM would be fueled and armed. Each of the 30 Su-25TM would be armed with 8 x 9K121 Vikhr, 2 x B-13L launchers loaded with 5 S-13OF rockets each, and 1 × 30 mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-2 autocannon with 250 rounds.
6955th Attack Helicopter Regiment would prepare the 1st Borisoglebsk Squadron and it's 15 Mi-24VP attack helicopters by fueling them to full capacity. Each Mi-24VP would be armed with 1 x flexible twin-barrel GSh-23L autocannon on the Mi-24VP and Mi-24VM. 450 rounds of ammunition, 4 x 9K114 Shturm, 2 x B-8V20 loaded with S-8T rockets.
110th Airborne early warning and control Regiment and AEW&C Support would fuel and prepare their aircraft and crews.
185th Aerial Refueling Regiment would fill up their tanks to max in preperation and prep the crews.
33rd Fighter Aviation Regiment would prepare the 1st Chernyakhovsk Fighter Squadron and 15 MiG-31M aircraft. Each of the 15 MiG-31M would be armed with 4 x R-60MK, and 2 x R-40RD.
3rd Bomber Aviation Regiment would prepare the 1st Chernyakhovsk Bomber Squadron by fueling and arming all bombers. Each of the
15 Tupolev Tu-22M3 would be armed and loaded with 1 × 23-mm GSh-23 cannon and 8 x FAB-1500.
296th Bomber Air Regiment would ready the 5th Chernyakhovsk Bomber Squadron by fueling and arming it's 15 Tupolev Tu-16 Badger C aircraft. Each of the 15 Tupolev Tu-16 Badger C would be armed with 1 x FAB-9000 M54.
Baltic Carrier Task Force and Black Sea Carrier Task Force would begin to get ready to departure. All crewmen and pilots would begin making preparations and embark. The vessels be fully fueled, crewed, armed, and supplied to their max capabilities.
Every Kirov Class Battle cruiser would be armed with:
