In the confines of his office in the Spanish embassy in Buenos Aries, the Spanish Ambassador to Argentina, Javier Sandomingo placed an encrypted phone call to a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sitting back in the plush leather chair as he sipped out of his mate gourd.

The phone would ring at the office for European Affairs of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a senior diplomat would take the private call.

"Ambassador Sandomingo, how are you today' how can I help you?"

The Ambassador smiles, placing his mate gourd onto his desk as he turned to face the window, looking over the city of Buenos Aries.

"Hola, Buenos Dias. I am very good, I hope you are doing well too! I am seeking to make contact with your government because ministers from our countries made contact a couple of months back and nothing really came out of that talk, I believe your government was seeking to purchase fighter jets from my country but no diplomacy was coordinated so I am taking the time out to make contact with your government to conduct diplomacy."

"Yes, I understand there were negotiations going on regarding the acquisition from 1 or 2 units of F/A-18 Hornets from the Kingdom of Spain. They were on hold for a time, but Argentina is ready to restart negotiations."
