It is with great pleasure that I write to you on this day. It is ingrained in your Foreign Relations, that a healthy relationship with the UK is a priority for the Kingdm of Spain. As such I would like to ask you if it would be possible to visit the UK at your avalability in order to discuss trade, european cooperation and global events.
I would also like to formally thank you for your quick aid in the on going industrial fire in Spain, the British Personnel have been essential in culling the fire and their aid have been invaluable, on behalf of the People of Spain, I thank you.

The Spanish Prime Minister would be invited to a meeting in London, however, due to constraints, this would not be with the Prime Minister but would be with Deputy Prime Minister Thomas Stone.
If accepted, the Spanish Leader would be informed that the Deputy Prime Minister is available to see him at his earliest convenience.

The Spanish Prime Minister, Rafael Cortés, would embark its an Airbus A310-300 nicknamed Conquistador 2, headed towards the United Kingdom. On board would be 12 bodyguards, some diplomatic staff and aides. All information would be relied to the relevant British Authorities.

After a while, the Plane would arrive near the British Airspace. And would request to land.

The Spanish Airbus A310-300 was given authorization through routine Air Traffic Control regulations as it followed an IFR plan into British Airspace, following their arrival, they would be directed to RAF Brize Norton which is the hub for international VIPs. On the airbase, three SUVs waited at an available ramp with security from the Diplomatic Protection Group whom would be the escorts to take the Prime Minister to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. They would simply wait until the Spanish Aircraft touched down and taxied as instructed.

The Spanish Aircraft, with permission, would touched down on the airport safely, and would be taxied over to the granted hangar. The Prime Minister would get out and would follow procedures, by being escorted by the British DPG. He would always greet everyone he meet, giving handshakes all around.

Once he was introduced to the Deputy Prime Minister he would greet him warmly.

"It is great to see your Deputy Prime Minister, the United Kingdom is beautiful and its people welcoming! I'm very glad to be here. How are you?"

The aircraft, diverted to an appropriate ramp, would allow the Prime Minister to board the unmarked SUV and be taken under escort to the office of the Prime Minister, specifically, 10 Downing Street. After the trip from Brize Norton, the Prime Minister himself stepped forward and shook the hands of his Spanish counterpart "An absolute pleasure to meet you" he smiled pleasantly "I am doing well, thank you, please take a seat. How are you?" he proceeded to ask, shutting the door and taking a seat himself to keep the pair confined to a private quarters.

"I'm doing well thank you, it its wonderful to be here in the UK, it is a marvelous nation, like none other!" He would take a seat to speak with the Prime Minister. "How is the UK fairing in these days?"

"Thank you, and it's a pleasure to have you here. I can only hope you will enjoy your stay. The UK? It is fairing well, actually. We've had no conflict and we aim to keep it that way, whilst keeping vigilant. We are hoping to extend our hand to countries we wouldn't normally, to build up relations and government policy remains proactive internally. Might I ask how it has been going with your own government since entering office?"

"It is wonderful that you brought such peace and prosperity to the UK. As people say, with a strong UK, Europe as only to gain! And vice-versa" He would chuckle.

"Well, our entrance was quite... hectic, the previous government was deposed after what happen in Galícia. It was and is a trial by fire, we have to thank you and your forces in dealing with the fire, your help was invaluable." He would pause.

"You see, the Kingdom of Spain views the United Kingdom as a natural ally, we wish to bring our relationship to those levels, which is one of the reasons I choose the UK to be my first international Visit. I believe that together we can achieve great things for the world. Especially with where its heading. The world needs countries which it can depend on in dark times." He would pause again for a few seconds.

"I believe that to start this relationship on a strong foot, we should begin discussing trade relations, how does the UK feel about opening at least 5 Trade Routes with the Kingdom of Spain?"

"Oh, definitely" smiled the British Prime Minister "Absolutely no problem with Galicia, we are glad to be able to help where possible and hope such tragedies do not occur again. Unfortunately things like that happen and all we can do is react to them the best we can. How has everything been since that incident? I know there were some problems politically as a result, I think?", he would wait for an answer before continuing to address the trade routes "Trade is certainly something we are keen on, and seems to be getting discussed less and less between countries but focusing on increasing trade is valuable in my opinion. Five is very specific though." Andrew laughed. "I'm not sure of your interests but we currently, as our main exports, trade Machinery, Cars, Precious Metals, Pharmaceuticals and Organic Chemicals. If this is something you'd want to exchange?"

Andrew was going to take the time to cast a joke about offering fire extinguishes and water sprinkler systems in relation to the explosion in Spain but it was ill timed and not very appropriate given the amount of people that burnt to death and became coal that would fill Santa sacks. Instead, he opted for silence to give his new friend a chance to reply.

"Oh yes, the previous government failed time and time again from making the necessary laws to ensure stuff like this couldn't happen, and it seems it wasn't on their best interests. So our parliament made a vote of no confidence and they were kicked off."

He would chuckled when the Prime Minister talking about the number of trade routes.

"Yes, it is very specific, however each would serve to carry one of your exports, so we will take all of them." he would smile. "Of course each of these trade routes would also export our main exports which are Machinery including computers, Mineral fuels, Pharmaceuticals Fruits and nuts and finally Clothing. I believe it would be a great deal, each trade route would bring one of our exports to your port of choice and leave with one of your exports. It would only be needed a single ship per trade route, meaning Britain would not need to deploy any commercial ships. Do you like this idea?"

"I see, of course parliament must make sure it does the best for its people. We can only offer our support where possible." smiled the Prime Minister, "That sounds ideal, and of course, do able. Just to confirm, Spain will be applying for the routes with the International Trade Organisation? I presume bringing the goods from Spain to the UK, and returning with the goods we would be offering. Am I correct in saying that? I presume this would be on a weekly basis? Due to our geographical locations, this sounds viable. Would you need anything more from ourselves?"

"Yes we will be applying for the ITO, and yes we would be sending the goods and returning your goods to Spain on the same Cargo Vessel, and on a weekly basis, which would only bring prosperity to our region. The only thing we would need is your confirmation on a official document of Trade." He would pull a pre-made document from his briefcase and show it to the British Prime Minister. "What do you think?"

The Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will create [5] trade routes between themselves, and ensure their security and cargo. Both nations shall pledge that the following resources will be provided upon arrival of said trade routes. The Kingdom of Spain shall solely provide the Cargo Ship destined for each cargo assigned.​ The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will provide a fully loaded cargo, towards the assigned Trade Ships, the following resources; Machinery Cars Precious Metals Pharmaceuticals Organic Chemicals The Kingdom of Spain will provide a fully loaded cargo, towards the assigned Trade Ships, the following resources; Machinery including computers Mineral fuels Pharmaceuticals Fruits and nuts Clothing

A few moments would pass and the British Prime Minister reviewed the agreement, happily signing it without a delay "We're certainly happy with this, with our signature, I will leave it in your capable hands to arrange the logistics." he smiled, "It is always a pleasure working closer with Spain and we foresee a future of further cooperation. On the aspect of trade, have you joined or are you looking into joining the World Trade Forum? The UK has just gone for full membership so hopefully it will make trade a bit more mainstream."

The Prime Minister would also sign the agreement. " We just need a port of destination so that they can begin moving Mr. Prime Minister." he would chuckle "At the moment we are not yet looking to join the WTF, however in future we shall, I'll be honest we haven't read through it or investigated, but it seems a good initiate. However we do prefer to make these agreements of trade, it feel much more personal and builds relationships between nations." He would also pause.

"I'd like to also talk to you about a growing concern. Zimbabwe, the Kingdom of Spain is part of one force which its main role is humanitarian aid, which is the UZACOM, which is doing wonders in Zimbabwe. And we also have been called to lead the Global Assembly efforts in the region for peacekeeping purposes, which is called the GAPFOR-Zimbabwe. I'd like to know if, as Britain is a respected and strong member-state of GA, will Britain also be participating in the efforts? Currently only the Republic of Poland pledged troops and equipment, while the Kingdom of Spain also does. But, no one else from the GA as stepped up or provided any support, which concerns me. What is Britain view on this?"

"That is understandable, nonetheless, it's a good chance for us to have pushed ahead with a trade agreement before the World Trade Forum does manage Britains imports and exports. Whilst we understand the benefit of trade been more personal, the forum means more trade in general which is our main motivation for joining it. As for Zimbabwe... the United Kingdom has not made any mandate in response to participating in current efforts due to our involvement elsewhere. We have sent peacekeepers to Congo as that too is struggling. We find an unfairness that the Global Assembly and.. well.. the rest of the world are focused on Zimbabwe when there is many problems in other African countries. Congo.. a brewing conflict in Madagascar. We understand the valuable work needed in Zimbabwe so if we were going to get involved, it would be on the support aspect of supplies and transport. Have you asked any other countries directly for support? if so, who and what was their thoughts on the matter? Additionally, what support is it you are lacking right now?"

"We haven't reached out to other nations as of yet, I believe that the Secretary General of the GA told our ambassador that he would be contacting other nations for support. While I do believe that other nations in Africa need help, Zimbabwe is a special case in my view, from our intelligence gathering, Zimbabwe after the forceful removal of Mugabe by France, fell in utter chaos, nothing, absolutely nothing is working in the nation, it as almost returned to the Stone Age, there is no food, no power, no sewage, no water treatment, no police, no emergency services. It is in need of so much aid, that only one nation cannot provide. Currently its Airport in Harare is being manned by Argentina, and a resemblance of a Police Force is being controlled by Ireland. Ourself are deploy two cargo ships with food and water, to at least give the population of Harare a few weeks of rationing food.." He would pause.

"I fear that many nations in the world take advantage of nations like these, which is why I view the GAPFOR-Zimbabwe, as an operation to really help the nation."

"I would suggest reaching out on a more personal level for additional support, in that case. Albeit, it sounds like a very big operation that is needed and with the current climate, I am not sure of the support that people will invest. Due to my governments mandate, and already having boots on the ground in Congo, our support is limited. At a push we can offer routine supply delivers from the Royal Air Force if this would be suffice? Is there much infighting in Zimbabwe as a result of their.. unfortunate situation? We do praise your government for taking control of the situation for the Global Assembly and will be vocal in gathering support for you."

"I will follow your advice and prepare a more close and personal approach to nations to help Zimbabwe, I believe it is a noble cause, helping another nation back on its feet. Supply deliveries from the RAF would be truly welcome. At the moment there is no infighting, but peacekeeping is needed nonetheless, the Provisional Government is being seen as the true sucessor by its population, and they are doing wonders for their nation, they are trying everything humanly possible to lift the nation back on its feet." He would wait for the answer by his counterpart.

"On another note, what are your thoughts on a possible Western Alliance? Due to the current world climate, I believe that nations with the same values and ideals should protect eachother in the eventuality of hostilities."

"In that case, I will push for the arrangements to be made for regular Royal Air Force flights to Zimbabwe. Am I correct in saying the focus is Medical Supplies, Food and Water? I don't foresee any problems but I believe the mandate will likely cover at least a C-17 Globemaster to do trips Zimbabwe. The only issue I would expect is distance, although my knowledge is limited I do believe the C-17 would need to refuel half way over Africa and there isn't anywhere I am aware we could land. Might I ask what your own air force is doing to resolve this issue?

I would, however, need to know more about this Western Alliance you mention. It's not something I have heard of before?"
