Recipient: Alexander Smith, Chief Executive Officer, First Choice Air travel is a highly competitive industry and Iberia is looking to expand its fleet and routes around the world and our company has a good working relationship as we operate a near full Airbus fleet and we are looking to upgrade and add new aircraft to our fleet of current aircraft. We may be looking to lease the aircraft or may need to add an installment plan to our order depending on the pricing offered by your company. We currently operate 16 models of the Airbus A350-900 which are recently new to our fleet and we are looking to increase this number and become the largest operator of the Airbus A350-900 and add a further 30 models to our fleet to replace the aging Boeing 757-300 as these will be phased out by 2015. These additional models will be used to open new routes to many countries around the world. Depending on the success of the aircraft in our fleet, we could look to bring the number from 46 to 67 if that can be arranged between ourselves and First Choice. Iberia is currently in possession of 2 Boeing 767-300 aircraft and with these coming to the end of their life cycle, they are currently being used on domestic routes between Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport and Gran Canaria and we would like to offer our passengers the highest quality of comfort possible and we would like to swap the aircraft we have with 2 brand new Airbus A330-800neo, we are looking to phase the Boeing 767-300 out towards the end of 2013. We also have two Boeing 747-200 obtained in 1972 and these have been withdrawn from international service and have been used on short haul services which need to be changed out immediately and we have taken an interest in obtaining three Airbus A380-800 which will see the introduction of top of the range first class seats being introduced as 'Iberia First' and these will be used on new routes to destinations on the west coast of the United States of America. We would also like to add additional aircraft in our Airbus A330-300 fleet from the 8 aircraft we have to 16 aircraft which will supplement the high demand to our fleet. And finally, we are seeking to relaunch 'Iberia Cargo' and we are seeking to introduce 5 Airbus A330-200F aircraft to supplement the new fleet of aircraft with the option of adding a further 3 aircraft to the fleet. If you could get back to me with prices of these aircraft and whether a loan deal can be achieved or whether First Choice is willing to work around a deal with Iberia such as an installment plan then I would greatly appreciate it.
