Live from the heart of Moncloa, Madrid, a gathering of press from all over the globe stand before a large podium adorned with the insignia of independent Spain. Behind them is a captive audience awaiting the arrival of the new leader of the Spanish State. A figure emerges from the stage side and walks across towards the podium. The crowd erupts into applause as camera flashes snap to capture this important moment.

Caudillo Emanuel Marillo stands before the audience, he's dressed in a smart suit and sports a sash in the colours of the Spanish flag. With a smile, he gestures for the crowd to quieten down.

"Gracias, gracias." He grins. "Today is a unique and beautiful day. The great people of our glorious España have decided to choose their own destiny. A choice that has been decided with the upmost decorum and respect for the democratic system. I now stand before you as the newly elected leader of this free Spanish State."

"It is a brave choice for any nation to abandon it's monarchy and reshuffle the way it's governing works. However, as you will know from our past, we are no strangers to change. I believe that this is a truly modern government, a government that will support the Spanish people, their families, their businesses, their health and their safety."

"I would like to assure the international community, that we are looking outwards on this choice and not inwards. We are ready to form great friendships with our existing European neighbours and countries further afield. We wish to continue our strong bond with the countries whose nationals choose Spain as their place of residence. The doors of España are always open to our friends."

"Naturally, there is a lot of changes to the infrastructure of our government, and we have already begun to make those changes. Over the next few days, we will begin to open up diplomatic talks with neighbouring countries to discuss trade and ways in which we can strengthen our relationships. We also invite countries to reach out to us, for this is a bright new dawn and Spain is full of opportunities."

"¡Una, Grande y Libre!"

The crowd erupts with applause and cheering. As they do so, a large Spanish flag unrolls behind the Caudillo and the national anthem plays.
