Dear Secretary General,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Kingdom of Sweden in an official capacity and under the instruction of the incumbent Prime Minister Stefan Löfven. Your contact information was held within documentation regarding the Global Assembly and I thought it best practice and most appropriate to contact you direct regarding my query.

When the present government of Sweden took office it was deemed unnecessary for us to be present in the Global Assembly due to our LEDC (less economically developed county) status and with a obviously lack of knowledge regarding the current economic climate. We now believe Sweden has a role to play in the betterment of the international community and would absolutely like to be apart of a global discussion forum. We are aware of the entry fees required for membership and I have been given the necessary authorisation to pay this upon presentation of an invoice from your office.

Please accept this letter as a formal application for the Kingdom of Sweden to become a member state within the Global Assembly.
