XESTABLISHMENT OF THE SWEDISH TERROR THREAT ADVISORYX
Sweden's terror threat level remains at the second highest level of attack likelihood following a shock announcement from the highly secretive Swedish Military Intelligence
via Twitter earlier today. This means that a terror attack inside Swedish borders is highly likely.
The highest level of terror threat level, as explained by the Swedish Terror Threat Advisory (STTA) who are currently managed within Swedish Military Intelligence, is reserved
for when an attack within Swedish borders is anticipated despite the best efforts of government agencies, law enforcement and the military to put preventative measures in
place. The announcement by the STTA was swiftly followed by an internal memo to local television and news outlets explaining the terror threat levels and what they mean for
the general public.
In a statement to Sveriges Television exclusively, Swedish Military Intelligence Director General Lena Hallin commented on the STTA levels and specifically how it could effect us:
"The Swedish Terror Threat Advisory is a newly established warning system which works in two parts. The first part is naturally to warn the general public of the current threat
we face as a nation and the action it is necessary for us to take in order to ensure the safety and security of ourselves and the people we love. Naturally each level prompts a
different government and public response - as we speak we're working on campaigns to better help the public understand how to interpret confusion military or government
jargon which effect their everyday lives.
An 'immediate' threat level signifies that Swedish mainland is at 'immediate' risk to a terror attack and the general public should be highly vigilant when in places of dense civilian
population such as airports, train stations and city centres. This is followed by 'severe', where we currently sit, this signifies that we are at severe risk, this is commonly following
intelligence or information we've received that we have determined has some substance. An 'exceptional' terror level is a place where I would be expecting the general public to
continuing their lives with no significant interruption. Both 'heightened' and 'low' are our lesser seen grading and are definitely the ideals we aim for.
The second part to the STTA is the behind-the-scenes approach, you may notice that the levels have no significant difference between them for the public? That's because all of
these levels prompt a different government, military, law enforcement and public service response in order to combat prevent and ideally stop the risk of terrorism within our
borders. I'd be hard pressed to go into any more detail than that for obvious reasons but Sweden is committed to working with out international friends, allies and partners to
combat terrorism head-on and in the process we will do everything we can to ensure the safety of our own... hence the introduction of the Swedish Terror Threat Advisory."
A recent budget decision by the Department for Justice has lead to the exploding success of the Swedish Coast Guard. The maritime law enforcement agency has
grown from nothing to now having a brand new fleet of almost two-hundred vessels.
The Department for Justice recently announced that millions of dollars have been secured in order to ensure the Swedish Coast Guard is established in attempt to aid the
thriving Maritime Safety Initiative currently at the forefront of Swedish politics. Funding of this significance is unprecedented with the current administration whom actively
stand at the front of maritime competition despite the newly-formed-government status and the lesser domestic income compared to many other European states. Within
the spending package is the promise for almost one thousands fresh-faced and highly-trained law enforcement professionals to crew the strong fleet.
The Swedish Coast Guard are tasked with maritime surveillance and other control and inspection tasks as well as environmental cleanup after oil spills at sea, coordination
of the civilian needs for maritime surveillance and maritime information, following of international development within the field and take part in international efforts to
establish border controls, law enforcement at sea and environmental protection. The agency carries out some of its surveillance by air from its base at Skavsta Airport just
south-west of Stockholm and in the winter-time by hovercraft on the ice-covered waters of the Bothnian Bay from its Luleå station.

Sweden holds the International Ice Hockey Federation trophy high as the world's leading ice hockey nations descend on hosting state Canada for the tournament.
Colisee Pepsi, Quebec City, Canada
Vietnam, Canada, The Netherlands and Thailand failed to stand in the way of winning team Sweden in the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships recently
as they finally battled their way to the top of the table in the beautiful county of hosts Canada. Nations failed to carry anything similar to the aura of invincibility seemingly held by the
Nordic state as Spain beat France and Sweden double Canada in day one of the world renown competition. The semi-finals descended with Vietnam vs Sweden and Thailand vs Spain
ultimately resulting in a 2/3 victory to Sweden and a 6/2 victory for now-opponents Thailand.
When the two teams met previously Thailand has battered Sweden to a 4/3 win previously despite Sweden being the favourites to win throughout the competition... the dust was settling on an
uncertain outcome for Sweden despite their excellent performance so far, another tight performance would be a nerve-racking win for the team.
Johan Larsson starts the game with an out standing goal followed delicately by Mika Zibane however opponents Thailand score two which levels the game, the crowd were on the edge of their seats
as the history between the teams seems to be repeating. Ultimately the smaller Aisan county were demolished by what the Federation named the "Kings of Ice Hockey" - Sweden.
