Dear Her Majesty's Household,

I write to you on behalf of His Majesty, the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty, Queen Silvia.

I act on behalf of the Swedish Royal Household and part of my role is the most senior advisory to His Majesty King Gustaf. You are the first to hear of our intention to being a world tour which has been dubbed the Swedish Royal Tour in which we will begin our journey across our home continent, Europe, visiting every stable nation, irrespective of their developmental status, before moving over to the Americas, Middle East and Asia. It is without doubt that the United Kingdom stands at the forefront of European affairs and as such it seems a natural starting point for this tour, at the doorstep of the most famous royal family in not only Europe, but the entire world.

I write to you today to arrange the possibility of a royal visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, one of, if not the, strongest unions in the world. Your 18th century values still running strong even today.

As you can expect, there are logistical challenges, and a significant portion of funding has been set aside for this process. I hope this correspondence lay the foundation block for the Swedish Royal Tour and you do us the honour of hosting His Majesty the King.

Thank you for contacting the Department of the Royal Household and for the interest in a Royal Visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
After further discussion internally regarding the possibility of such state visit, we have been granted the authorisation required to invite His Majesty, the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty, Queen Silvia, to the United Kingdom within the first week of September, or towards the end of September based on the best date suited for yourselves, we believe this would offer ample opportunity to arrange the visit and it's logistical demands.

The United Kingdom will be able to provide an enhanced security force for the Royal Tour, and accomodation has been offered by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Buckingham Palace itself.

If this is something you would still like to go ahead with, please can you verify the ideal date and we will put the state visit preparation in place.

Dear Alex Wright,

Your correspondence has been graciously accepted by His Majesty's Royal Court of Sweden and naturally the invitation has naturally been accepted.

This is the first Royal Tour ever undertaken by this court and as such we would like to make it a rather majestic event, showing the intent of collaboration, friendship and unity across waters - enhancing the spectacle that is a monarchy for persons to watch worldwide as our families are brought together. As such, we intent to fly, along with our royals, a small number of the King's Life Guard who will "hand off" the protection of the royals to your relevant ceremonial service. We will be making best use of ceremonial dress and tradition throughout the visit not only as a sign of respect and courtesy to your nation but to better depict the event in mainstream media.

The first week of September is marvellous and preparations on our end will begin immediately. I will have the departure of the royal family sent to you prior to their takeoff.

Thank you for the confirmation, we will make sure to begin our preparations into receiving the Swedish Royal Family and I have no doubt that we can make it a majestic state visit for both Sweden and the United Kingdom. • Accommodation has been provided in the form of Buckingham Palace.
• Britains local law enforcement will be complimented by Special Forces to provide protection over the course of the state visit.
