A new wave of violence has erupted in Algeria, as the conflict against the FIS continues. The Algerian military has launched a new operation, dubbed "Operation Endgame", with the chief of army describing it as the "final attack" against the FIS.
Reports suggest that the operation has seen increased ground operations, as the Algerian military seeks to regain control over areas still under FIS control.
The conflict between the Algerian government and the FIS has been ongoing for years, with both sides accusing the other of carrying out brutal attacks and violating human rights. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, including civilians, soldiers, and militants.
Many in Algeria hope that this latest operation will bring an end to the conflict, but others fear that it will only escalate the violence and lead to more bloodshed.
Serbia has recently sent equipment and soldiers to Algeria in order to support the country during its civil war against the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS). The Serbian government announced that it is providing military assistance, including tanks, artillery pieces, and infantry troops. Serbia's decision was made in response to a request from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika for international help with their fight against FIS forces.
