As the social media posting from a Twitter account of the Swedish Prime Minister has made the world infirm, the Thai Government pursued an investigation into the cause of such a tweet. Congolese Chief of the Army and Designated Regent has raised his concern regarding the potential Swedish plan to attack Congo with the Thai ambassador to Congo, Sopa Pimolkittikool. He has requested Thailand to deploy its SAM system to Kinshasa to ensure the security of its nation. The Defence Ministry of Thailand then offered military assistance to Congo to strengthen its air defense capability in exchange for a temporary Thai Armed Forces presence in Congo, showing confidence that Sweden would not attack Congo. The main and only objective of Operation Pong Na Pha Klai is to prevent any conflict that shall arise between Congo and Sweden.​

Operation Pong Na Pha Klai

As Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has authorized Operation Pong Na Pha Klai, the Royal Thai Expeditionary Force, Auxiliary Fleet, and NIA personnel have already gathered at the Phang Nga Naval Base. The Auxiliary Fleet will handle the transportation task for all units and equipment with 9 Mannok-Class Landing Ships. Three extra Mannok-Class Landing Ships will only transport supplies that can't fit in other vessels. Three Tanker 23000 will serve as replenishment oilers during the 23-day journey to Banana Port in Congo, and those Tankers will transport NIA personnel and some supplies. All troops are equipped with Standard Loadout as per their role and all Equipment is armed with Standard Loadout of the Thai Armed Forces. Congo will be notified through an encrypted line that the Royal Thai Expeditionary Force has started their journey to Banana Port.

The route will be NJ > NI > MI > LH > LG > KF > JF > JG > JH > JI

It is a windy, gloomy morning in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The Royal Thai Expeditionary Force (RTEF) is now over 2,000 kilometers from their Homeland, Thailand. In the same morning routine since their departure, they exercise within the limited space of the Mannok Class Landing Ship. Glancing at their sides, a large vessel, namely Tanker 23000, is leaning closer to their smaller LCUs. As the entire Auxiliary Fleet slows down, the sailor crews connect each LCUs oil tank to the Tanker 23000 with pneumatic line throwers, leaving about 30 yards between each vessel. After successfully performing underway replenishment, the Auxiliary Fleet now holds a steady speed of 12 knots. Each Tanker 23000 handles four Mannok Class Landing Ships. When they arrive at Banana Port, they will have extra fuel in each tanker of around 5 percent of their original volume.

One of the Tankers accommodates 10 NIA personnel onboard during the travel. Under the Chief of Intelligence's direct order, their presence is confidential to non-commissioned officers. The Thai Government doesn't inform the Congolese Government that NIA will conduct intelligence operations inside their country and the African continent. The deployed personnel are among the best to be responsible for this task. They hold a diplomatic passport with Geneva Convention protection except for armed personnel.

The Auxiliary Fleet will use an encrypted line to communicate with the South African Maritime Defence Company of the Swedish Strategic Defence Agency while the Royal Thai Expedition Force (RTEF) crosses from the Indian to the Atlantic Ocean through South Africa. The fleet commander would ask permission to travel through South Africa's territorial seas. Before entering international waters again and sailing at a steady 12 knots to Banana port in the Congo, they will keep a distance of ten nautical miles from the coast. In any questions coming from South Africa, they will receive an answer that the Royal Thai Armed Forces is performing its overseas deployment. Connor

As the Thai Fleet got closer to the Banana Port, they would sight an ongoing Congolese operation on its patrol mission while entering Congo's seas. Given the size of the deployed Thai Auxiliary Fleet of three Tanker 23000 and 12 Mannok Class Landing Ship, the Congo can easily detect them using radar or from the land surface. The Commander will use radio communication on an encrypted line to the Banana Port to reserve a space for landing as they enter the territorial waters. At the same time, Thai Troops begin to prepare their combat gear, equipment, and loadout. They will enter their mobility vehicle, APC, and Engineering vehicle.

As the RTEF approach the coast of Banana, the Thai fleet size is comparable to the remaining already-overload Congolese navy warship on a minimal naval port of Banana. With the small scale of port facilities to handle such amphibious landing from the Thai LCUs, only three tankers dock at the Banana port after disconnecting pneumatic line throwers. Twelve Mannok-Class LCUs land on a nearby beachhead as they release 297 troops, all boarding in 27 GAZ Vodnik, 2 ICV Stryker, a BREM-1 Armored Recovery Vehicle, and an IMR-2 Combat Engineering Vehicle. Seventy-two crews and some soldiers begin moving out supplies from the LCU, including seventy containers of 9K338 Igla-S and 45 Starstreak systems. All Thai equipment and personnel combat gears are highly-maintain. Each man is well-equipped for their role with numerous accessories around their suit and inside a backpack. "I am soaking wet. This place is here hotter than Thailand." Soldiers start mentioning the dry and burning weather of Congo. As they continue chattering, an RTEF commander, Chonlatee Weerachoti, will meet Congolese officers or anyone waiting for them on the shore along with four troops.

Three tankers have successfully moored at the Banana port. Forty-five crew members replenish themselves and bring supplies from the ship ashore. Ten NIA personnel gathered on the deck at the same time they emerged from their cabins. "This naval station is what the hell is it? I do not doubt that the Congolese Authority only uses this location as a simple harbor for its military facilities." From Tanker 23000's vantage point, they monitor the area as they observe the Banana port. "From what we've seen since we arrived, I think their navy is conducting a patrol." The NIA staff members are surprised by the Congolese ship and troop numbers comparing the seaport's size. "This is too crowded. They don't even have enough place for their vessels and men." They step out from the Tanker and reach the dock level; four Thai embassy vehicles are waiting outside Banana port. All NIA operatives are in their official uniform, carrying luggage. Two armed guards have IWI Tavor TAR-21 and M1911, while an elite sniper has SIG Sauer SSG 3000, and they all have bulletproof vests. They will head to the Thai embassy in Kinshasa afterward.

As the Thai forces came aground, they would be met by an armored company of the 2nd Naval Marine Brigade, Thirteenth Division, Marines, consisting of 9 PT-76B amphibious tanks, as well as a BTR-90 from the brigades headquarters detachment. A squat man would jump off the hull of the BTR-90, wearing combat fatigues, sticking out his hand to Chonlatee Weerachoti, and introduce himself.

"Ashon Kalejaiye, Brigadier General of the 2nd Naval Marine Brigade, it's a pleasure to finally meet our allies from across the globe. Should I see you toward your likely post? We could either station you in Kenge, about 100 miles from any boundary in any direction, and our premier military base, or we could station you at Charlie Field temporarily while we prepare our Kinshasa base."

As the NIA personnel made their way through the city, they would be tailed by several Congolese army trucks at a distance, and eventually, two VAB AZURE urban combat vehicles would join the convoy, one in front and one behind the Thai column. They would ensure a safe escort to the Thai embassy, where Senior Ambassador Mansa Montagne, chief of all Asian affairs, would wait to greet the Thai agents, himself surrounded by four domestic CBI agents, none visibly armed. Two soldiers from the escort would join them outside the embassy, carrying rifles, while the two APCs would remain alert and within visual range of the embassy.

Chonlatee Weerachoti would respond in a formal yet friendly manner after attaching his M16A4 to his sides. "Chonlatee Weerachoti, colonel of the Royal Thai Expeditionary Force to Congo. It is a great pleasure to be working with our ally on an international scale. Charlie Field is a strategic location, and we want to station there and train the Congolese men. We also request logistic support to transport our supplies there if possible." They would have observed exceptional protection for the Thai ambassador and their convoy as ten NIA members entered the Thai embassy at the International Complex. All seven NIA operatives would inspect the chief of all Asian affairs and four domestic CBI agents with their quick glancing. Three armed guards from the NIA would still be on high alert before entering the embassy even if they discovered that no one was armed. As the ambassador of Thailand chatted with them, they would put all of their belongings in the NIA section of the embassy. "I will be at the Friend of Africa conference soon in Kinshasa. Surprisingly, there is a literal war taking place near us right now. I don't think it's doing anything to ease global tensions. I heard the Imperial Army purportedly destroyed the Russian embassy in the Republic of Congo, just over the river. We have troops in Congo, and I don't think it's a good idea to disrupt the country." One of the NIA operatives would step ahead and talk to her. "I acknowledge that you had a difficult journey in the Congo for our nation, and we are all grateful for your endeavor. But, offering instructions to our operation is not directly your obligation. You must negotiate, convince, and compromise with the Congo so that we always follow the bilateral agreement. You are the finest person to know that we are not conversing with a government that abides by international law." There is a pause. "Just to make sure you will still be alive to see us, here is a gift from our agency." The agent slips through an FN Five-seven and three magazines of 20 EA S4 5.7×28mm cartridge rounds each into her clothes. "Don't prank anyone by shooting them even though you see they have body armor. It can just go through two layers into someone's heart."

After ten minutes of discussion, an NIA operative informs everyone about the current situation. "It seems like there is a bombardment at Pointe-Noire. It is a predicament, and the Imperial Army has nearly annihilated everything. I have been listening to the news, and the conflict is escalating." At the moment, the NIA operatives would remain inside the embassy to gather information from the local news source before taking any advance and more risky operations inside Kinshasa.

The Republic of Thailand expresses concern over the shooting down of an intelligence aircraft over Brazzaville. We are sorrowful that such a reconnaissance plane from an unknown origin has tried to gather information over the warzone. It is infallible that it was not a commercial airliner. And an antagonistic adversary is trying to take advantage of the Congolese people. As you may know, we hold seven intelligence operatives inside your country performing the additional counter-intelligence service for the Congolese nation. This operation is a part of our National Intelligence Agency(NIA)'s Central Africa division, where their duty is protecting Thais' interests and promoting peace. We have been establishing a network in the Congo for over six months, and we are confident that we have been observing any movement that might also harm the Congolese's interests. Congo is our internationally recognized partner. We are determined to cooperate with the Congo in any matter, including intelligence. Given our advancement and achievement in the technology of information gathering and intelligence practices, we want to exchange knowledge between our two agencies. We want our Administrative Officer active in Kinshasa to visit the Congolese Burea of Information Building. In return, we will let the Congolese intelligence service visit headquarters in Bangkok.

With our cordial relationship on the foundation of peace, we are determined to cooperate closely with the Congo. Please let us know if the Congolese government finds this proposal acceptable. We are keen to develop a more dependable and profound relationship.​
