Ambassador Hatfield,
I hope your recovery from the Bangkok Incident has been going well. Please accept, again, my sincere apology of our country's inability to safeguard the American Embassy, personnels, and its citizens.
I am contacting you to inform you of the investigation of the culprit behind the Bangkok Incident as well as our country's commitment to rebuilding a positive relationship with the United States. The Thai Police, along with the NIA, have confirmed the organization responsible for the incident, as well as the detention of all malefactors involved in the incident. The Ministry of Justice of Thailand and the Supreme Court of Thailand have assented on the extradition of all criminal to the United State.
The Republic of Thailand is committed to ensure the swift operation of the extradition in regard to our respect for the lost American, we are handling all jurisdiction concerning this incident to the United States.
