The Closure of Irish Embassies

Official Statement from The Foreign Ministry of Èire​

On behalf of the Foreign Ministry of The Republic of Ireland (Èire) in Dublin, I hereby announce the closure of embassies in the following locations:

Egypt
Madagascar
Taiwan
The Philippines
Ukraine
Poland
The United States of America
The Netherlands

Irish diplomatic officials shall depart from their respective host countries within a one week period of time. Irish citizens are also advised to return home with the same length of time.

Apart from this development nothing shall be done to hinder the free exchange of goods and services between Èire and the nations of the world.

We request that the diplomatic officials of Taiwan, The Netherlands, and The United States of America leave Irish soil within two weeks time. Citizens of the previously mentioned nationstates are more than welcome to remain on Irish soil as guests of state or resident aliens those who came prove their Irish ancestry will also be given the option of citizenship within the republic.

After the staff at the US Embassy on Elgin Road, Dublin, received word that they needed to leave Ireland, they would begin packing up their belongings. All computers would be wiped with sensitive and crucial information being stored on external hard drives to be taken with the embassy staff as they leave. All major documents would be shredded, especially those holding sensitive information. When everything was done, they would head towards the airport where tickets had already been paid for by the US government.

Ukrainian embassy personnel would vacate the premises of their ex-embassy along with consulates and destroy any sensitive information. All state property would be packed up and the staff would take it all to the nearest airport and depart back to Ukraine, all Ukrainian citizens would be given notice that they are no longer guaranteed to have protection within Ukraine and advised to leave the country.
