Federal Government Bans Various Political Parties Ahead of Election by Valeriya Vorobeva
Throughout the civil war, the government of Russia had gathered a long list of political parties that have been involved with the terrorist forces throughout the nation. Now that the fighting has finally stopped, the government has gathered in Moscow to enact a ban on these political parties from participating in Russian elections, whether they be municipal or federal. This ban has also spread to a lot of the parties' leaders. Alongside the ban of elections these parties have been outright made illegal for their actions during the civil war and any gatherings or support of the parties will be met with legal action.
The list of banned political parties is a long one but the largest and most influential ones are the following: Pamyat (Neo-Nazism), Russian National Unity Party (Neo-Nazism), Communist Party of Russia (Communism), Party of Freedom and Justice (Communism), Russian Communist Workers Party (Communism), Communists of Russia (Communism), and the National Bolshevik Party (National Bolshevism). Alongside these parties was a ban issued to various parties throughout the nation that were involved with the terrorists or had similar ideologies of the banned parties. This ban also means that for the first time in Russian history, communism is an illegal ideology.
With the federal election soon underway, it is clear that communism will have no future in the Russian Empire.
