”Good evening wherever you are joining us today, we are following breaking news along the Syrian-Turkish Border after yesterday’s nearly surprise announcement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, İsmail Cem that the border and nearly all forms of trade and commerce between the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic would be closed. This comes in after a number of developments after the worsening diplomatic situation between Turkey and Syria. But first we need to turn to the major events going on right now at the southern border and the developing crisis“


Video turns to correspondent on the Turkish Side of the border under the protection of two armed guards In the Hatay Province.

”Good day everyone and here behind me you can see the Utter chaos unfolding at the border as thousands of Syrian And Turkish Families are trying to get to eacother before the Offical closing of the border tonight. Already we have seen a significant slow down of the travel process and we are receiving world that the Turkish Border Protection Agency has stopped all Passage through this checkpoint due to the lack of staff able to hold the mass amount of immigrants trying to get in. From what I can tell right now it seems as though many of these immigrants have been planning to immigrate into turkey for awhile now and have suddenly all tried to enter at once as this is the last oppertunity to do so, but more are simply trying to get to families on the other side. The 5th Armored Motorized Infantry Battalion from what we hear is currently in full force at this checkpoint and some of these larger checkpoints to the south that are experiencing major difficulties and cannot be handle by standard police divisions. No violence has erupted yet but there is simply a flood trying to get into the border right now and I dont think the Border Authorities simply were ready to handle the influx. I have heard that at least three people have been injured in stampedes but again no word that any violence or armed engagements have occurred.“

Cameras from the Syrian Side now focuses on a separate charge to overwhelm the border but is being held back by security officials and Border Protection. The screen is split to see Turkish Families also trying to get to family members on the other side as well but are being held off by MIlitary Vehicles including Otokar Cobra I vehicles armed with 12.7mm Machine guns.

“This is A developing story and more information to come, we will have additional reporting on the crisis as information come through, currently now world from the President’s office or the Grand National Assembly yet but we expect a briefing soon. The Syrian Government has also yet to respond but is expected to soon”

”Good Afternoon wherever you are joining us today, we are following the breaking news coming out of South Africa at this Momenet after an completely unexpected decleration of war agaisnt the Swedish Government based on claims of the unlawful occupation of South Africann Territory in the Antarctic. Now if you can remeber Sweden has dealt with past flashpoints in the Atarctic region in the last few years including a short war with the now fallen Argentine Government which had one of the Most powerful militaries south of the Equator. Now though Sweden faces an unexpected foe in its claims on the Antarctic from South Africa."

"From what we can tell not actual hostilites have yet to arise after the decleration of war thus far and we are trying to reach out to the South African Government for Further Information. From what is currently Public knowledge South Africa has a very small armed forces with little to no vehicles, aircraft, or Naval Vessels. This must be extremely concerning considering the fact that South Africa could be open to aerial attack by the Swedish government and potential allies."

"While Turkey has taken no official stance on these matters we have been able to get exclusive insider information that Members of the General Assembly and the MoD have sympathies for the Swedish Gov-"

“Breaking News this Hour, President Demirel has released an International Statement on the situation with Palestine after isolated and unconfirmed reports that Israel may be moving troops to the Gaza border though we cannot confirm this information. The President seems to have issued an ultimatum to Israel that If the Israeli Government continues its disregard for the Palestinian People then Turkey and the world will have to act. Its not know at this time what the president specifically means by “act” but we have seen a flourish of activity around the nation as multiple Military Divisions were just formed and are being sent south as we speak. The Navy is also loading supplies and equipment near the port city of Izmir, home to the Southern Fleet As captured by our local reporters. And just in, we have heard the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now supporting the cause and has pledged full support to Turkey in this matter. We will have more information soon on this developing story.”

”The Turkish Ministry of defense today announced a new spending measure being put into place to counter the recent suspected arms buildup in Egypt and Israel. The two nations have been vocal critics of Turkey and the recent downing of an hijacked South African Plane and with tensions rising the Ministry has decided that the best option is to increase the stockpile of Turkish Weaponry. This includes an order for nearly 500 Advanced Sabra M60 Main battle Tanks and numerous new vessels that will be built near Kocaeli. Some in Turkey have dubbbed the recent turn of events as the (Quote)-Middle Eastern Arms Race- and it seems to only just starting to heat Up. We heard from a representative today that nearly 200 Combat aircraft are currently on order from the global defense conglomerate Sparrow Industries which will boost the Turkish Air Force’s Capabilities greatly. In addition to this the Air Force media Corporation has begun targeted ads across the nation in order to recruit new pilots into the Air Force which will lead the nation into (Quote)-glory-. Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar recently said that (Quote)-We are merely building Up in case of war, not for it. Many feel that we are overspending and over prioritizing the armed forces over the recent unemployment crisis and the drop in Tourisim and to that I say this, have any of you seen the horrors of the Jews and how they treat the people of Palestine? Now think of their conditions compared to ours, we have it much better but the Israelis are looking to not just rule over Palestine but the entire Arab world, and they will come for our freedoms, our democracy and crush it. The conditions under Israel would be much much worse than the what it is now and I hope all Turks thank allah that we do not lived in an oppressive to land such as Israel and we boost our capabilities to protect what we have fought so hard to obtain in the first place-.:

”In other news an unconfirmed report has alleged that the Israeli head of state may be meeting with the Ministry of foreign affairs after weeks of rising tensions. Many in the Grand National Assembly have stated that if this is indeed the case that they will put a stop to it and that interacting with the (Quote)-Dirty Jews- will only lead to interference from the United States and elsewhere.“

”To round out our major stories, the Korean Ambassador to the Global Assembly today has called for An immediate emergency session of the Global Assemby. This comes after the recent invasion of South Africa and the collapse of the South African Government.
