OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE NAVY |
ENCRYPTED MESSAGE |
TO: First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff of Her Majesty's Royal Navy ( Jamie )
FROM: Nickolas House, Secretary of the Navy of the United States of America
Admiral,
The United States has a carrier group that is presently travelling around Cape Horn. The fleet was returning home from a deployment to the Pacific, but the President has ordered it to be rerouted to the Southern Ocean. Before the fleet goes underway the Navy would like to have the ships refuel. We thought that Mare Harbor would be a natural option considering the strategic alliance between our two countries. The following classification of ships will need to refuel: x3 cruisers, x7 destroyers, x10 frigates, x2 replenishment vessels, and x1 amphibious assault ship. The Navy will not publicly disclose that our fleet is to refuel in the Falklands. If it will be possible to refuel our fleet in the Falklands, it would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know as soon as possible
Respectfully,
Nickolas House
Secretary of the Navy
