UNITED STATES EMBASSY TO THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY |
ENCRYPTED MESSAGE |
TO: Helmut Kohl, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany ( Dutchy )
FROM: Mike Becker, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Federal Republic of Germany
Federal Minister Kohl,
I issue apologies on behalf of the State Department that we have not been able to send this message earlier. With the permission of your government, I would like to continue to act as the United States Ambassador to Germany. Current events around the globe have been very hectic and we need friends in the Free World now more than ever. Please forgive the lack of formalities and pomp and circumstance that I have to offer right now, because we need to have an important discussion.
The White House has asked the State Department to garner support from the nations of the Free World to openly condemn the communist and fascist governments in Siberia and eastern Russia. This united statement will not require any nation to recognize any faction as legitimate, but it will instead make it clear that those factions east of the Ural Mountains are most certainly not legitimate. I think that our nations in particular should be able to clearly state that we stand fundamentally opposed to any fascist of communist government in Russia. If your government is interested in participating, I would be happy to send a draft of the statement to your office for review. The State Department is presently contacting other nations to garner further support.
Best Regards,
Mike Becker
