The following is extremely sensitive, Top Secret information.

The United States Navy has redirected Carrier Strike Group Four to the Indian Ocean because of the situation between Burma and Thailand. While the strike group will have enough supplies and fuel for the duration, the Navy always likes to be overly cautious. I am writing to request that the fleets oilers and replenishment ships be permitted to refuel and replenish at Deigo Garcia. Below are the names of the ships that would replenish at Diego Garcia:​

USNS Stratus
USNS Cirrus
USNS John Isherwood
USNS Henry Eckford

Thank you for contacting the Ministry of Defence.

After consideration, I can confirm that we are able to permit the use of Diego Garcia to replenish the following vessels in June 2003:

• USNS Stratus
• USNS Cirrus
• USNS John Isherwood
• USNS Henry Eckford

All crew are expected to remain on-board during the replenishment as a security arrangement. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Secretary Green,

I am sure that you have heard of the situation in Canada at this time. Parliament Hill has been attacked and the Canadian Prime Minister is feared dead or seriously injured, and the status of the King is unknown. From what I have been told, the Canadian Army is currently being deployed into Ottawa; however, it is unclear to us who is currently the top of the chain of command in Canada or who the perpetrators are.

Because the situation with Burma has been resolved and because of the extremely concerning situation in Canada, the President has ordered the USS Nimitz and her escorts to return to the West Coast of the United States. The Polish fleet is joining ours in this deployment. At this time, the mission of the fleet will be to prevent foreign intervention in North America and, if necessary, to assist American ground forces in defense of the United States on the Western Seaboard.

As our closest ally, the President invites your fleet to join our fleet off the coast of Washington State. We would be willing to perform joint armed patrol flights in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Canada and Washington State, if the Prime Minister would be willing to redeploy the carrier towards our West Coast. Alternatively, we would also welcome your carrier fleet in the vicinity of Hawaii and perform armed patrols around the Hawaiian islands. Please let me know what the Royal Navy's intentions are. I regret that we have had to make a change of plans.
