The crews would be given a 24 hour period of notification to spend time and say goodbye to their families, this 24 hour period would also include travel time for those living a little further away. The Commander for the Carrier Strike Group would be Rear Admiral John “Duke” Wade, his second in command and Chief of Staff would be Captain David E. Burke and the Command Master Chief, the person responsible for the personnel well being, would be Communications Technician Chief Petty Officer and ship writer, Jeremy K. Byrd.

Twenty four hours had passed and by now, all of the sailors, airmen, marines, soldiers and equipment would be on board the ships. All of the ships during this period would have been fully fuelled, all stocks would be completely full and ammunition would be full.

Out of Naval Station Norfolk, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, the USS Kearsarge, The USS' Gonzalez Cole, The Sullivans, the USS Leahy, the USNS Henry Eckford, theUSNS Alan Shepard and the USS' New Mexico Missouri would all begin to depart from dock, at five minute intervals for each ship, mooring ropes would be released and tug boats would begin to guide the ships out of the naval station, the five minute intervals gave each ship enough time to make distance between one and the other to ensure that no accidents happened between them. This wouldn't need to happen in Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, however, as the lone USS Georgia would be unmoored and again guided at by Tugboats, the Submarine would have be fully fuelled and armed as listed above. The USS Antietam and USS Alaska, again however, would need five minute intervals as they both depart from Naval Station Mayport.

The two groups from Georgia and Virginia would travel from FM>FL at an average speed of around 18knots, where they were to meet up with the Antietam and Alaska in FL, where they would travel FL>GK>HJ>HI>HH>HG>HF>GE>GD. They would take roughly 89 hours to arrive at their intended target which was Port Stanley, Falkland Islands. Although it wouldn't really be necessary, the ships would refuel and resupply if needed be, this included the submarines surfacing for supplies and oxygen.

The submarines, once in deep enough water, would submerge to around 90 meters and go on passive sonar until a target represented itself. The ships would remain on alert, however not at battlestations until they reached GK, to which they would sound General Quarters due to the heightened tensions with Brazil and Argentina - the ships would remain in international waters at all times.

The fleet would have passed Brazil and Argentina unscathed and would begin to arrive in Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands. If there was no space at port for the ships, they would anchor at around 1km from shore and would contact private hire boats to ship sailors to land for their time off. The USS Kearsarge would be one of the main ones to allow to dock with all of the equipment on board. As it docks and is moored, the ramps of the ship drop, allowing the vehicles and soldiers off. All of the vehicles would drive off themselves but the eight M198 howitzers would be hooked up to eight of the FMTV - M1078A1P2 2.5-ton LMTV cargos to be pulled off. Once in dock, the soldiers and equipment would begin to move into the town and mingle with the Falkland population. They would be carrying their weapons and equipment, however the weapons would be unloaded and they wouldn't be wearing their armoured, just their combat uniforms.

The soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines would be given a period of 24 hours to adapt to their surroundings, before operations were to begin. the submarines would surface to allow their sailors time ashore. Equipment would begin to get set up however, the eight M198 howitzers would be set up so they were guarding Port Stanley, Six would be on the west side of the town, facing the mountains, whilst two would be on the east side, facing the port, little beach and long beach. The rest of the vehicles would just be parked up at Port Stanley airport, in the car park (parking lot), ready to be used. Some of the soldiers and marines would stay with them, allowing civilians to sit in them for pictures if they asked, which was highly likely to happen. @Jamie
