The Canadian Ambassador to the General Assembly would receive an invitation to Hue City, the ancestral seat of the Vietnamese Emperor in the early 20th century, in order to be knighted into the National Order of the Republic of Vietnam for his intense role in ensuring the commencement of Operation: Parasol, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Kosovo, and his services to the greater world.
