At approximately 1200 Central European Time, Archbishop Ngu Cong Ly, the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saigon, along with a Republic of Vietnam Marine Corps Sergeant and Lance Corporal departed from the Vietnamese Archbishop's office in the Holy See. Father Ngu carried in his hands a manila folder. Neither of the Marines were armed aside from their ceremonial weapons, gleaming M1911 handguns that were holstered. The Archbishop slowly walked along the opulent halls, making his way to the Young Pope's office. As soon as he was outside of the office, he turned around to face the two Marines that served as his bodyguards.
Ironically, neither of them were Catholic.
"Remain here, please." Archbishop Ngu said softly.
"Aye, Father." The Sergeant replied, clicking his heels.
The Archbishop turned around again, and knocked upon the office of the Young Pope.
