This meeting will overall be meant to show Vietnamese support of Brazil to dissuade countries from escalation. However, I must stress that Brazil comply with the ICJ during all times or we will not be able to support you in a full manner.

Very good, and we will request some accommodations for the General. Outside the view of Cameras we request that Brazil provide a waiting medical team to be posted 24/7 at all times. Which will be supervised by his current doctor. As you know he is currently aged 102 and his health is not what it used to be. However he insists on attending and looks forward to being your guest. So precautions must be made to ensure his health during the meeting. How long will it take you get the proper accommodations in order?

Dear Minister Ngô,

The General can stay at a Villa at my Personal residence. The Instituto Hospital de Base is less than a 15 minute drive away, I will also have my personal doctor with us as well at all times and a medical team from the Army Veterans Hospital. The International Airport of Brasilia is just 5km away so the General will not have to sit in a car for very long after what I am sure will be an arduous journey from Hanoi.

Although I am excited to see him, I will keep his trip low key. The trip will not be announced to the media. I normally would not like to exclude the media from such an historic meeting, but I respect the general's need for privacy and and after such a historic life, the lack of a need for the pomp and circumstance that Summits between leaders sometimes are.

Rest assured his accommodations are ready as we speak. I anxiously await his arrival.

I believe you misunderstand. Media may be allowed to capture his presence there. We however do not want them to broadcast or show the medical teams required on standby. He does not mind being photographed or filmed. As remember this meeting is meant to show our commitment to Brazil. I believe that the General has been wishing to visit Brazil for some time. So that is another part of why we wish for him to join this meeting between our two countries. Another thing, you may wish to have some of your own Generals visit him. I am sure that they would have much to talk about of course.

But yes, thank you for agreeing to make these accommodations. I am just happy that Võ Nguyên Giáp is able to see a world where the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was restored. As well as see that we make allies and friends of countries like your own.

I sincerely apologize for misconstruing what you said. We will have the media film him walking down the airstar waving as the Brazilian National Army band plays the Vietnamese national Anthem. Our two leaders will meet and be ushered into a Vinaxuki Armored Pickup 650X we purchased from you long ago that has been converted into a state of the art mobile protection system for the President and diplomats. 4 seats facing one another. Enough space for translators and an additional doctor or bodyguard if need be.
