A reputable Portuguese Political Institute, as made an analysis of the World militaries, using precise measurements on the overhaul quantity of numbers of equipment of the world’s nations, and with basis on this, it has released its findings and posted it on their own website, it should be noted that the ranking doesn't equate, for now the quality of the equipment of each nation, however sometimes quantity can overwhelm quality. With this the institute removed the nations that had no navy or didn't have any equipment capable to conduct the minimum possible requirements for defence of its host nations. As such, the institute would release first its Naval Power Index/Ranking of the nations of the world
It should be noted that if the nine nations below the United States of America, be combined, they would still remain in 2º place. It goes to show how much farther ahead the U.S Navy is, compared to the rest of the world. The differences below the 10º are not noticeable being as these nations rank fairly close together in their index power.
Another note is that theres is currently 38 active nations in the world stage, however only 17 posses a Navy which is capable to conduct military operations.
