Official Statement

The Office of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Dublin for The Republic of Ireland has decided to withdraw its diplomatic personnel from Israeli soil come midnight.

The rational basis for such decision on the part of the Office of Foreign Affairs and Trade for the Republic of Ireland is due in no small part to the ongoing occupation of Palestine and flagrant abuse of it's inhabitants at the hands of The Israeli Defense Forces under the guise of combatting terrorism. It is noteworthy, that as Ireland looks forward to its reunification so too does it look forward to a free and independent Palestinian state.

Israeli diplomats will be given one week to depart from Irish soil, the Garda Síochána shall be act as a security escort should the departees request it.

The Rights of Israeli Nationals shall be protected in accordance with the Irish constitution and international law, exclusions to said protection shall only be implemented if the individual in question happens to have ties to subversive entities (those proven to be a subversive element shall be deported and placed on a blacklist forbidding them to set foot on Irish soil)

The Australian Government would absolutely slam this decision and give Israeli citizens consular services in the Republic of Ireland.

Brazilian government officials meeting in a private room in the back of a bar in the the downtown district of Brasilia discuss Australia's public condemnation of the Irish government's recent decision to sever diplomatic ties with the government of Israel.

"Correct me if I am wrong here, but wouldn't the public shamming of an official Irish government decision be grounds for a lawsuit of libel against the Australian government?'

Another would butt in after polishing off a Johnny Waker Blue on the rocks.

"Lawsuit? Nah. Well maybe in Australia."

The group all shares a hearty laugh at the expense of the Australian government.

"Hey, it is not like they are publicly discussing plans with a neighboring country of Israel to invade it, no?"

"No," another chimes in. "That would be stupid."

"No," another at the table remarks. "Australia's stupidity is only outmatched by its arrogance. Constantly putting on airs as if they are somehow holier than thou when they are nothing but a two-bit player impersonating a shot-caller."

Being a dress casual Friday morning, government employees at the Presidential office would hear this song upon entering the office.

The Israeli government would withdraw all its government officials in Ireland back to Israel. It would further issue a travel and business ban for all Israeli citizens and business. Preventing their operation in Ireland under Israeli law. The Israeli government would condemn the unprovoked closure of its embassy.

The Irish Government would impose a trade embargo upon Israel and would encourage it's citizens to support the BDS movement in order to cripple the Israeli economy. Furthermore, a travel ban would be enacted on Israelis wishing to visit Ireland and a flight tax of 94% imposed upon Israeli nationals prior to their departure.

The Irish Government would however notify The Jewish community of their decision and would reaffirm its commitment to upholding their right to worship and live in a manner equal to that enjoyed by Protestants and Catholics.

The Thai government would condemn every action taken by Ireland towards Israel, stating that this is not how a proper government should be acting, let alone imposing a travel tax on citizens that have nothing to do with the actions of their governments and simply wish to return home to their families.

Furthermore, the Thai government would announce that all Israeli citizens who wished to return to Israel should stop by the Thai Embassy in Dublin where Thailand would pay for all Israeli citizen's flights from Dublin to Tel Aviv, for free.

Secretly, the security at the Thai Embassy in Dublin would also be increased to be safe as the Irish government and its citizens have proven to be quite unpredictable and idiotic in the past.

The Irish Government would release a statement in order to counter the claims directed against it by Thailand noting that Israel enacted a travel ban and a virtual trade embargo on Ireland designed to prevent the free movement of individuals between the two nations while forbidding Israeli companies from doing business with their Irish counterparts simply for having objected to Israel's inhumane treatment of the Palestinians which in their minds was not unlike the treatment of Catholics in Northern Ireland prior to 1972 under the regime of Stormont. it would also note that, due to the suspension of commercial ties Ireland would require a certain amount of revenue in order to compensate for lost capital which could only be drawn from those seeking to leave the country for Israel.

The Irish Government as the owner of Aer Lingus would announce the suspension of all flights between Dublin and Tel-Aviv until further notice and would also forbid entry to those individuals in possession of an Israeli passport or those individuals in possession of an Israeli visa. either of these items shall result in a denial of admission for the traveler in question. usage for transit may only be wavered in the event of an emergency.

The Thai government would ignore the demand for money as it was never going to book via Aer Lingus and instead would book all flights for Israeli passengers through British Airways. All flights would be booked through economy standard seats and would go from Dublin to Tel Aviv. Thailand would also remind Ireland that denying a citizen to leave the country when they did not commit any crimes is immoral, non-democratic, and non-humanitarian. Thailand would tell Ireland to stop being petty and let the citizens go.

The Irish Government would order the Garda Síochána to monitor those Israeli Nationals suspected of attempting to circumvent the flight Tax prior to their departure. Those caught in the act of circumvention shall be arrested and charged with tax evasion.

All Airports in Dublin would be placed under lock down by special armed detachments of the Garda Síochána who would given orders to prevent exodus of flights carrying Israelis out of the country.

The Rattanakosin Kingdom would release an official statement to the government of Ireland stating that if any Israeli civilian were placed under false arrest, they would bring the matter to the Global Assembly under the breach of the Resolution for Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They would also demand that if the Irish government was to continue denying Israeli citizens to move freely it would also bring this matter to the Global Assembly under the breach of the Resolution for Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the Irish government has breached the following chapters and articles:

  • Chapter 1, Article 1: (I) Human beings are FREE and EQUAL in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
  • Chapter 1, Article 2: (I) Every Person is ENTITLED to all the Rights and Freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as Race, Color, Sex, Language, Religion, Political, National / Social origin, Property, Birth or other status.

(II) No distinction shall be made on the basis of the Political, Jurisdictional or International Status of the Country / territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
  • Chapter 1, Article 3: (I) Everyone has the RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERTY and the SECURITY of Person and Property.
  • Chapter 1, Article 9: (I) No person shall be subjected to INDEFINITE ARREST, DETENTION or EXILE dealt arbitrarily.
  • Chapter 1, Article 13: (I) Everyone has the right to FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT and RESIDENCE within the borders of each State.

(II) Everyone has the right to LEAVE any country, including his own, and to return to his Country.

The Thai government would ask for the Irish to re-read Chapter 1, Article 13 as many times as possible until it fit into their heads. They would also state that if the travel ban on Israeli citizens was not lifted within 48 hours, that it would bring the matter to the Global Assembly.

Australia has warned Ireland that any breach of the Resolution for Universal Declaration of Human Rights will be taken up with the Assembly and that it will draft a resolution for military action into Ireland if they do not allow Israeli nationals to move freely out of Ireland within 48 hours. Australia has warned it may also take unilateral military action into Ireland if that fails and Israeli nationals are still restricted from leaving.

The Irish Government would take heed of Australia's warning regarding human rights violations and would reluctantly allow for the free, unmolested, and safe passage of Israeli Nationals out of Ireland seeing as pressure has been applied through diplomatic channels. However, after said nationals make their departure from The Republic of Ireland their right to seek admission into the country shall be recognized as null and void as no such recognition of Israeli Visas or Passports shall exist. The flight tax would be withdrawn in its entirety.

As Sudan doesn't recognise the legitimate state of Israel, the Sudanese government supports Ireland's decision(s) in the name of a free Palestine. This support would only be made known to Ireland and not be made public in order to avoid any diplomatic backslash.
