From Gerald Monahan, Foreign Minister of Èire
To The Hon. Chrystia Freeland, MP,
Minister of Foreign Affairs."
Greetings, my name is Gerald Monahan, Ireland's current foreign minister. I am writing you in order to begin the first communique between our two great nations with the expressed intention being one in favour of a working relationship and given that a reasonable portion of Canadians happen to have been born on Irish soil or born to Irish parents all the more reason to begin our exchange.
On another note, The Garda Síochána and The National Ambulance service would lile to offer their sincerest apologies for having been unable to provide their support following the Irish Republican Army's decision to conduct a killing spree against the prime minister and his ambassador to Ireland.
I'm looking forward to hearing back from you shortly
Sincerely,
Gerald Monahan
