Throughout Èire the people watched as France and Argentina classed in what seemed to be an ever-growing number of conflicts and sovereignty disputes in a world on the bring, for their part the Irish people would show their support for Argentina despite the neutral stance of their government in Dublin.
The Governments of France and The Netherlands would be condemned for their imperialist actions and utter hyprocrisy in having to justify the attempted violation of Argentine sovereignty and a secret ISAF plot to destroy those wishing to pursue their own national interests in peace without outside interference from the great powers.
In Dublin, the flags of both France and The Netherlands would be set alight and mass rallies held to raise money for Argentina. The Garda Síochána would however be deployed to protect the Dutch embassy setting up a series of barricades in order to restrict the access of demonstrators fearing prospects of harming relations with The Netherlands.
The Treaty of Phillipsburg would be dismissed as a disgraceful document, a product of imperial conquest...many would demand that the provinces placed under Dutch rule be given independence or at least the option for a constitutional referendum on the matter.
