Al-Qaeda Broadcast
Poster IP re-routed via Proxy Servers
The day after the attacks in London, Al-Qaeda swiftly prepared and distributed videos across the internet and through both local and national television networks. Their aim was clear: to reach an audience as wide as possible, spreading their message far and wide and ensuring that their words resonated globally. The video quickly spread across social media platforms, video-sharing websites, and even the Dark Web, flooding every corner of the internet with its message. The posters took extra care to reroute their IP addresses through multiple proxies before releasing each post, ensuring their digital signals remained untraceable,
The Video
He began by reciting the Quran, his words measured and almost ritualistic, before transitioning into the heart of his message.
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings upon His Prophet, Muhammad. Alayhi As-Salām"
More men came into the frame from either angle, clad in black robes and keffiyehs, whose faces were also concealed. They all held rifles firmly in their grip for a display of their readiness for violence. These men stood still, menacingly staring towards the camera as the man continued to speak:
"Yesterday, on November 29th 2005, the streets of London trembled. The attack carried out was no mistake. This was a calculated strike with the intent to send a message to the heart of the oppressors who have spilt Muslim blood for decades without consequence. The United Kingdom is a nation that, for years, has desecrated our faith. They have now tasted a fraction of the pain it has inflicted upon the Ummah. This operation was planned with precision and carried out with the blessing of Allah. Do not mistake our actions for chaos. This is purely justice and is Allah's will. We are but His instruments."
The camera zoomed in more onto the man's covered face. His tone hardened, and his words were sharp and deliberate.
"To the people of the United Kingdom: you are not innocent. You have elected leaders who fund the armies who have slaughtered our people in the past. Your hands are as stained with the blood of Muslims as the soldiers who pull the trigger. Do not cry out for mercy, for you showed none to us. Let London serve as a warning to the West. Your fortresses are not impenetrable. Your streets, your cities, your lives—none are beyond our reach. For every casualty we have suffered over the years, for every act of humiliation, we will strike back with the permission of Allah, the Almighty. May Allah grant victory to the Mujahideen and continue to strike fear into the hearts of the oppressors.
This is only the beginning for the West. Allahu Akbar."
The video lingered briefly after the final words were spoken; the screen faded off and was replaced by an image of the black-and-white Jihad flag. The screen held this haunting image for a moment longer before fading to black, the message delivered, and the broadcast abruptly ending.
