The argentine ambassador to Riad would request a private meeting with the Director for South American Affairs of the Saudi ministry of Foreign Affairs, or its clsoest equivalent in order to discuss bilateral trade and ivnestment opportunities.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Saud bin Faisal would agree to a private conversation as soon as the Argentine ambassador would be ready.

The ambassador would instruct his secretary to prepare the private videoconference with his Excellency Minister bin Faisal.

He would be accompanied by his Deputy and the chief of the Commercial section of the Embassy.

"Your excellency, thank you very much for agreeing to this conference, I'm sure you must have a very busy schedule. let me introduce myself, my name is Carlos Medica, appointed Ambassador of Argentina to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

After realizing that the phone had been on for over a week on his desk while he was doodling barrels of oil and heavy breathing on the other side Minister Saud bin Faisal would pick up the phone to answer Minister Medica.

"Good day Minister Medica and let me say I am extremely sorry for letting you wait for the past two weeks for my response as I had important, erm..., matters to do and I couldn't pick up the phone. I would like to imedately get down to buisness and discuss a trade agreement. As you Im sure you know Saudi Arabia makes up a massive amount of the world oil supply which means we have significant control over the market but I assure you though that out of our very few competetors we are the best to do deals with. I know that you must need our oil but we would like to know what you can offer us, since we are in the proccess of forumating or are in ongoing talks with other nations that have a upperhand when it comes to quality of their products. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is flexible though and will consider any deal proposed."

"No worries Minister bin Faisal, I know you are a busy man (the argentine minister would have no way to know about the saudi's hobby of drawing oil barrels doodles).

Straight to the point, I like this! I am aware of Saudi Arabia's large influence in the international oil market, and its position as the leading oil exporter. However, luckily our nations has also been blessed with oil reserves. And in recent years the state has ivnested billions in developing the current infrstructure and oil/gas extraction operations, allowing us to be self-sufficient and also export a fair share of our excess production to clients around the world.

But oil aside, we do have a special interest in exploring other options for bilateral trade with the Kingdom. Does your nation has currently other products and commodities that required a foreign market? Argentina is currently doing that for some of our vehicle production, as well as grain and meat exports."

"Another thing, we have a Destroyer deployed in the indian ocean doing anti-piracy operations to safeguard maritime traffic. Since the ship is planned to be operating on the western side of said ocean, we though it would be interesting to work on argentine-saudi relations by inviting officers from the Royal Saudi Navy to board the ship and accompany it as observers during some says of operations."
