"Minister, thank you for taking my call, I imagine you must be very busy given the current crisis situation. I am Ambassador Rafael Regianatto, representative of Argentina here in Madrid. I won't take much time from you. I understand there have already been some communication between our Governments, but I wanted to confirm that an Argentine Air Force Boeing 767-300ER is on its way to Galicia with emergency supplies and personnel to help you with getting the situation there under control. We expect the plane to arrive in the coming 9 to 10 hours.
Please, keep my direct phone number and let us know if we can help you in any other way. Argentina stands by the spanish people."
"Yes, after the previous government being ousted because of various events, especially the one in Galicia, yes I'm filled up with work. I've only slept 3 ou 4 hours a day now. We thank you for your assistance in this disaster, it is nothing we have ever seen, its reaching a scale that we were not prepared for, specially with so few equipment and budget towards our services. The airport will have two dedicated landing strips for emergency services, one Spanish and another international, so it keeps cleared. When your forces arrive, they will be diverted to the East side which is where the fire is uncontrolled, especially near the chemical plant, unless its to high a risk for your forces, because we will be honest, if it explodes we are counting of hundreds of causalities.... I just want to make sure your forces know the danger and the risk, as the British and Spanish know."
"As emergency personnel I guess they know what they are up to, and we remain committed to assisting wherever we can. Thank you for the information, I will relay it immediatly back to the argentine operational command. As soon as they are ready to go in Galicia they will report to whoever your Government appoints as their ground coordination. I sincerely look forward to this situation to get quickly under control."
"We are trying to preventing international personnel from being killed miles away from their home and their families, which is why we are relocating them to medium and low risk spots, which lifts pressure on the Spanish Firefighters and equipment which can be used in High Risk areas, especially near the chemical plant, we know thats what they signed up for being a Firefighters or Field Medic, but it doesn't feel right putting this help in high risks zones, where they could be killed"
