Operation Background |

Joint Exercise Atlantic Wind was planned by Argentina and Brazil to continue improving the operational capacity of each others armed forces, specifically in the area of naval maneuvers, naval landings and aerial control. The exercise would consist of two stages, being the first one the attempt to land a marine force, matching one side against a "defender", and a second stage a ground combat scenario were marines try to hold a beachhead. |

Logistical Details |

The joint exercise would take place on the coast of the argentine province of Rio Grande del Sur. Further logistical information will be provided soon. The Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil would be invited to submit its deployments and invited to act as the "attacking" forces, playing argentina the role of the defender. Further information and details to the scenario will be provided shortly. |
