"Good evening Minister Kono, thank you for taking my call. I'm fine thank you.

The reason for my call was to express our gratitude for your nations support at the GA, where we presente the draft resolution to regulater financial international practices. Considering we are slowly approaching the time of the final vote, we wante to know if there are any further comments you would like to express related to the current wording and clauses of the draft. We want to have as much support as possible and we value Japan's opinion as a regional leading nation and potential global actor."

'Everything is well explained on the draft. I don't have anything do add or say about the draft itself. I'm a bit worried about the upcoming voting for the draft since not many GA members have commented in a positive way about the draft. The Netherlands and The United Kingdom have commented negative which will have a big impact on the voting. The chances are high that the draft will get a red light.'

"I understand your concerns, but our office in London has studied the issue and the numbers are quite balanced, perhaps even favorable to the passing of the draft. Luckily there are many nations that see the benefits of passing this, and what is best, they are mostly emerging or progressive nations, those that will really benefit from our proposal. If you look, only the more consolidated economies are going against it. Tha should give us already a clue about whats behind each nation's position."

You're right. I am already looking forward until the voting.

"Thank you for your support at the GA. Approving it will allow us to lower the interest rates we currently give... Now that we are speaking, we would like to hear Japan's stance on the situation involving Brazil, Sweden and Taiwan."

I am more concerned with the ongoing situation in Europe. If things escalate any further we may look at a next world war. A new war will hurt everyone

"Luckily the situation has been resolved... Not thanks to the german or italian openess bbut due to the demonstration of force and resolution by part of the unaligned nations of the world.

In this scenario, we value Japans balanced and mature position, and we woud like to continue expanding our bilateral relation. Might I inquire a little bit about your Governments foreign policy? This would help my Ministry find new ways and areas of potencial cooperation."
