All selected 20 agents would already have an advanced understanding of the english language, to the level of being able to carry out complex conversations without much effort. This first part of the Program would focus on improving this english skills in order to eradicate accents and other imperfections that could affect the execution of their missions on the field.

Special phonetic instructors and linguists would be hired and they would work for weeks with personalized programs for each of the 20 agents, working on each of their particularities.

Erasing accents and other imperfections is not an easy task, so it would take a good amount of time.

New vocabulary and idioms would be taught to the agents, as well as worked on specific english accents and vocabulary such as british and american english.

British-english native speakers of argentine citizenship would be used for this task together with US-english counterpart.

The accent reduction program would start with a speech assessment to determine a student’s unique needs. Speech production is a very complicated process involving coordinating movements of the lips, tongue, jaw, vocal cords, and respiratory system.

Areas of focus include teaching students clear articulation of vowels and consonants as well as the intonation patterns that are unique to each language. The learning sequence is broken down into progressive learning segments until they cumulate into using the newly learned skills in conversation. It will also include linking, rate, or voice projection. The instructor-led accent training includes conversational practice to help the student transfer these newly learned skills into everyday conversations.

This would all be reinforced with outside practice time, as it is essential for the participant to see significant changes in their speech.

The course would also focus on teaching students how to pronounce difficult sounds such as /θ/, /ð/, /ɹ/, /l/, and /w/; intonation, stress, and rhythm.Vowel sounds are also covered in this accent reduction training. Practicing of the vowel /ɪ/ most commonly spelled "i" is done by reciting a few of the following differences: his versus is, hit versus it, hill versus ill.

The training would persist, considering how difficult and time demanding the current goal of getting rid of possible accents that could give away a cover in a abroad assignment.

Arrangements would be made for the agents to attend different seminars and courses in foreign english speaking nations, in order to practice their skills even more and put them in use to see if they are already signs of success.

The agents would also continue learning specific, region-based slangs and accents, in order to have a better variety or resosurces at their disposal.

All this would be carried out in secrecy, with no possible way for outsiders to know the real activities and objectives of the agents.

With the training advancing, the agents would begin focusing now on more purely practical exercises and training drills. They would attend expat meetings with fake identities and try to blend themselves in by establishing new relationships with foreigners. They would use this to practice different accents (varying from meeting to meeting, paying attention not to blow their cover if they see the same people attending different events) and also as a general information collection training.

They would make emphasis in creating a real background story and adapting their way of talking to it in order to sound as credible as possible.

After a long time with the program active, the agents would have managed to reduce the accent mark on their english skills to a point in which it was not perceivable to a normal person. In addition to this, they would also have improve their vocabulary to adapt it according to the necessities, switching from american to british english whenever required. SLang and local idioms would also have been incorporated.

The agents would maintain periodic training exercises specially designed for each of them to maintain this level of proficiency.

The agents would finish this course and get ready for the following program in their special field operations training. All this would be secret.
