Operation Background

As part of the training of the new group of special intelligence operatives they would be taught specially selected languages in order to improve their capabilities when stationed abroad. All of them already mastered english skills at a very high level, to the point of being their accent impossible to detect.

The selected lenguages would be:

Logistical Details

All classes would be dictated in one of the restricted and private FIA agencies in the vicinity of the City of Buenos Aires, by specially selected instructors and native speakers, all with security clearance and of argentine citizenship. The names of the operatives would not be known to the instructors, who would work with the agents only through aliases.

Each agent would have a tailormade program to make the course as effective as possible.

No public information would be given about this Program and its participants. Details would all be highly classified.

All agents would present themselves at the FIA compound outside Buenos Aires, designated to host the present secondary language courses for the new agents that will be assigned abroad. As it is the norm in such courses, it would be completely secret and each agent would be assigned an alias for the instructors to call them by.

The first days they would have some initial group classes divided into groups separated by languages. During this period, the instructors would teach the basics of the language with the newest and best techniques and at the same time, they would begin preparing the individual and specialized intensive programs for each of them to proceed once their initial stage was complete.

Focus would be made on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation in addition to the common issues that are vital when learning a new language.

The 20 agents would continue their classes, now with specialized individual programs to make the learning as efficient and quick as possible. The agents would learn and practice to use different types of slang and idioms to better fit in as required per mission objectives.

They would practice both oral and writing skills with their instructors and use materiel such as movies, series, books and magazines in those natives language in order as to also learn about their cultures.

All FIA field agents would be making clear progress thanks to their specialized and optimized language learning courses. The instructors would continuously adapt the learning program in order to make better use of the time.

The agents would be able to maintain fluent conversations in their respective language with a varied and well-employed vocabulary. They would practice the writing skills but make more focus on the verbal parts and vocabulary, as that would be the most used aspect of the new language on their assignments abroad.

All this would obviously be done in secret at the FIA complex outside Buenos Aires.

All of the 20 agents would have made significant progress in their respective languages and have already an advanced and fluent control over the language they are mastering.

They would continue improving their writing skills, their oral expression and expand their vocabulary, at the same time they would also practice with special instructors in order to be able to fake different local accents of the most prominent nations they would be tasked to operate in.

They would continue working with specialized individual programs, in which the instructors would monitor the progress made and make the necessary changes and arrangements to continue optimizing the results.

All this would be done in secret.

After weeks and months of hard work and dedicated time, all the agent would be ready to conclude their secondary language training.

They would be able now to express and maintain dialogues fluently in those languages without even giving hints of their nationality and so being able to pose as natives.

They would have learned a very large vocabulary and be able to employ it according to the mission necessities. At the same time, the most important slangs and idioms would have been incorporated in order to improve even better more the adaptability of the field operatives.

All agents would nevertheless continue to practice their language skills periodically to maintain their level of proficiency.
