REGULAR INFANTRY

The Regular Infantry, or "Regulars" as they're less formally known, are the primary fighting force of the Norwegian Armed Forces. In the event of a major war or foreign operation, the Regulars would serve as the primary expeditionary fighting force. Regulars could also be deployed in Norway itself, however this responsibility would normally fall to the Home Guard. After receiving Basic Training, the soldiers are also professionally trained in Urban Warfare.

AIRBORNE

The Airborne are the more specialized fighters of Norway's Army, especially compared to the Regular Infantry. The Airborne would serve as the Army's spearhead in the foreign invasion of another state. They of course could also be used in their traditional purpose as paratroopers in both friendly and hostile territory, and even behind enemy lines. Besides their Basic Training and training as Paratroopers, their training in Wilderness Survival would also be exceptionally useful if certain plausible scenarios.

MECHANIZED INFANTRY

The Mechanized Infantry are one of the most essential forces of the Norwegian Army. While they are more than capable of mounting defensive tactics, they are the premier offensive regiments of the Army. Their vehicles are armed and capable of defending themselves while allowing Norwegian Army forces to rapidly deploy and move throughout the field. They are armed just as well as Regular Infantry regiments and are more than capable of both being transported and transporting other troops.

ARMORED REGIMENT

The Armored Regiment holds all of Norway's armored tanks. It is the defacto most powerful regiment of the Norwegian Army that is not only capable of incredible speed, but exceptional firepower with deadly accuracy. The regiment fields over 1000 soldiers and includes Leopard 2A2 tanks, as well as lighter combat vehicles that are lighter and able to assist the tanks in an open field of battle. On top of that, the lighter combat vehicles are also able to transport hundreds of troops if there is no active battle going on.
