This morning at Three A.M. forces of the The Mexican Ministry of Defense reported It had taken control of the Presidential Palace and other Federal buildings in the capital. Military roadblocks have been established in several of the nations major cities. The streets here in Mexico city are very quiet with heavy concentrations of troops. There have been no reports of violence or gunfire as dawn approaches. We have been advised the Government will be holding a press release at Seven A.M. Mexico City local time.
