Overview |
The Australian American Association was formed in March 1941 to foster and promote better understanding, mutual appreciation and friendly co-operation between the peoples of Australia and the United States of America. Each chapter of the Australian American Association is a member of the Federation of Australian American Associations Inc. Each year a federal conference is held where representatives from each state meet to discuss the activities of the past year and to formulate goals and guidelines of the Association throughout Australia for the coming year. Currently there are chapters in Victoria, Queensland (Brisbane and Gold Coast), Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory. |
