Dear Whom it May Concern, At this present time we exceed your maximum allowance for diplomatic, mission and security staff at our embassies. May I reiterate that our diplomatic and mission staff are unarmed and all our security staff are contracted by security companies in your nation. Due to Canada being a Commonwealth realm and our countries have strong historic bilateral ties and the great exchange of people between our nations we deem it necessary to have 200 diplomatic and mission staff in our High Commission in Ottawa. While I cannot grant you such a large increase compared to our maximum allowed staff, I believe that it would be applicable with the current situation in the Global Assembly and that of Australia being a fellow Commonwealth nation that we can find a compromising number of increase in your staff. Canada can allow a total of one-hundred diplomatic staff and allow up to twenty-five security personnel for a total of one-hundred and twenty-five personnel in the Australian High Commission, alongside thirty diplomatic staff in your consulate in Toronto.
