Dear Madam Prime Minister, In order to support New Zealand achieve its diplomatic aims, the Government of Australia has decided to offer the use of the Royal Australian Air Force's No. 34 Squadron which is dedicated to VIP strategic airlift and is based at RAAF Base Fairbairn in Canberra. This includes 2 Boeing 737BBJs and 3 Dassault Falcon 7Xs. The Australian Government has a desire to see New Zealand engaging more broadly in diplomacy with many nations around the world, including the United States and the United Kingdom, and the RAAF stands ready to support that mission until such time as the RNZAF acquires capability.
