PREDEPLOYMENT

With the Department of Defence preparing a pre-deployment list, 72 hours notice would be given to all crews and personnel listed. With all the crews and personnel being warned, those already on the ships in the docks would begin pre-deployment checks, as well as loading up all vessels with enough supplies to last them. HMAS Sirius would also be fully loaded with the maximum amount of fuel (Aviation & Diesel), Munitions, Water, Naval Stores and Consumables. 25 members of the Special Air Service would make their way to HMAS Canberra where they would join the two clearance diving teams. A route would also be planned and sent to all the ships & aircraft taking part: PF > OF > NG > NH > NI > NJ > NK (Ships) & PF > OF > NG > NH > NI > NJ > NK > MK. The Republic of India was also notified of the small deployment of the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and the Australian Army however the Special Air Service would be disguised as normal Army Personnel. No Forces were deployed as of yet.

With all the crews now aboard the vessels along with the Special Forces, the crews waved goodbye as they headed towards India. AS the Vessels would take much longer than the Aircraft, the aircraft would be prepared. The Vessels would take the shortest route possible, with the Special Forces being briefed en-route. The South Korean Administration would be notified that a small Australian Force was being deployed with a Special Forces Attachment in case the Medical Teams of Korea needed help with evacuation or any medical problems then the Dokdo Class can help out.

The Indian Government would be notified that a small vessel deployment was being used to help evacuate Australian Civilians along with its Embassy staff, they would also be notified that two CC-150's would be arriving in New Delhi in the next 24hours. They Indian Administration would also be notified that the Australian Vessels will sit roughly 30minutes out from the Coastline and can be moved if needed.

By now the Naval Forces would have arrived on the coast of India, the Special Forces onboard both Special Air Service and Clearance Diving Teams would be briefed on their missions. The Special Air Service team would be used to evacuate the Embassy, with that the Embassy would be notified to begin locking down and destroying all sensitive information and all pieces of equipment that could be destroyed.

The Clearance Diving Teams would be prepped to secure personnel from the Consul-Generals located within India, the consul-generals would also be notified of the planned departure along with the order to destroy all sensitive information, pieces of equipment and lock down the building when needed. All forces would begin loading up to fully fuelled and weaponised SH-60R Seahawks, the pilots would be briefed for their routes to be taken.

The CC-150s would have arrived at New Delhi International Airport, where it would refuelled and stairs would be brought up to the two aircrafts. Text messages were sent to all Australian citizens located within the Republic of India and told to head towards New Delhi International Airport where the CC-150s would be waiting, the Australian Government have also decided to charter out Qantas aircraft that would be able to be used to help evacuate any civilians.

The Indian Government would also be notified of all plans and the routes the Seahawks would take to evacuate the staff of all the Embassies and Consul-Generals. Another notification was sent to the Korean Administration of the Australian Forces in the region that friendly forces are their to help if needed.

At the Korean Embassy in New Delhi, the premises were quiet. Regular visa services had been largely suspended, but, slowly were being restarted. The attack in Dhaka had many scared at times if a similar attack would occur. Much less by communist or other factions unhappy with foreigners. The Embassy did its best to keep its staff and their concerns down. Still, to be silent and be dormant was to admit to the terror that beholden the region. Visas for students and workers already in Korea were restarted and the civil servants continued with their diplomatic work. Around the premises, 30 Special Operators were deployed. They spent most of their time inside the Embassy, only leaving on small escort missions for diplomatic purposes. With Director Moon of the Nat'l Security Agency in the country, they were providing QRF support for the meetings at the Ministry of Defense. On standby and ready to respond to an attack.

The Embassy was well secured to repel and push back an attack. The ROK Special Forces were equipped with heavy weapons and the Embassy Army Guards were reinforced and provided additional firepower to respond to an attack. Diplomats were well secured inside the Annex and all family members on mission were recalled to Korea until the situation returned to Normal. Director Moon and his small delegation and large security detail were staying in the Embassy as well. This gave the Embassy momentarily extra security and capabilities.

Ambassador Shin Bong-kil would receive the message from the Australian Military. He would kindly thank them for their offer and likewise extended the ROK Special Forces in country to provide assistance to the Australian Government and assist with their evacuation. The ROK Embassy would also offer to be the representing power for Australia and Australians in India until the Embassy reopened and diplomatic status was resumed.

At the Embassy, members of the 2nd Squadron, 1st Battalion, 4th Rescue Operations Unit would be training for a number of scenarios. Hostage Rescue, Securing a Facility, and Protecting High Value Information and so on. The teams conducted a number of operations in their combat gear with their weapons as they repeated the training. When not on training, the squad split into rotations and patrolled the Embassies interior and annexes. The ROK Embassy was secure, while consulate across the country had already been closed and the nearly ten thousand population of Korean expatriates having left following earlier warnings. Only a scattered number of two hundred or so Koreans remained in the country, with a trickle back expecting to raise that to four hundred Korean expatriates. Contingencies were planned, but, nonetheless, Korea was currently on course to remain in the country.

With the Special Forces now having received the the staff from all the Embassies, Consul-Generals and High Commissions within the Republic of India. The Helicopters would head back towards the Dokdo class located on the coast of India, meanwhile at the airport air force personnel were checking Australian Citizens onto the two aircraft that awaited. Once the two aircraft were full of citizens, the doors were closed and the engines would be turned on now that the aircraft were refuelled and once ready the aircraft would taxi towards the runway and begin take off procedures.

The aircraft would take off and once in the air would head back to the Airbase within Australia, and then be refuelled for another trip back to India to get the rest of the stranded citizens within the Republic of India. With the helicopters landing back on to the Dokdo class, the ships would prepare to leave the area of operations and the embassy, consul-general and high commission staff would be debriefed en-route home.

By now all the remaining Civilians that wanted to leave the country would be aboard the CC150s, these would be refueled and taxi'd along to the runway where they would take off towards back to Australia. By now the Vessels would have returned, and the embassy personnel and staff would be debriefed. For the time being the Australian Embassy would be closed, and with the kind offering from the Koreans, any Australian Citizens can use the Korean Embassy for help. The operation was a success. Once the CC150s landed, they would be refuleed and headed back to base where they would be maintained.
