The email from Sofia Koller, Ministry of European and International Affairs in Austria, would be forwarded to the French embassy in Wien, Austria. The official ambassador Mr. Jean Cadet would have received it in the early morning shortly after arriving at the Embassy. Eager to finally have official talks with the Ministry of European and International Affairs, he quickly gathered some files containing information on French trade and a general outline on military hardware then called for his car service. The Ministry of European and International Affairs was only about thirty or so minutes away depending on traffic. He instructed his personal assistant, a young woman named Patricia, to call and inform the Ministry that he was on his way to meet with Sofia Koller at her behest. The car arrived quickly and he made his way to the back seat. The driver Carlos, had lived in Wien for many years and knew the most efficient way to the European Ministry. They made small talk on the brief 20 minute ride. Once they arrived, the ambassador instructed the driver that he might be some time and bid him farewell. He made his way through the front door and to the front desk. He straightened his tie and said,

“Bonjour. My name is Mr. Jean Cadet, the French Ambassador to Austria. I am here for a meeting with Sofia Koller.”

A woman at the reception would smile and listen to what the Ambassador had said. She'd reply "Welcome. Of course, please take a seat, I will let her know you have arrived." Shortly after, Sofia would appear through a set of doors into the front foyer. Flicking her blonde hair to a side, she was dressed smart for the occasion. Her heels clicked through the foyer as she walked towards the Frenchman. As she finally reached, she'd be smiling, she'd reach her hand out to the Ambassador to shake her hand. "Welcome. Ambassador Cadet." Vaka

Ambassador Cadet watched as Sofia Koller came through the front foyer. His heart skipped a beat. This woman was beautiful, he thought quietly to himself. He began to quickly think about his appearance. His wispy graying hair, and clearly an older style charcoal gray suit made him all but the drabbest of Ambassadors. As she approached he quickly adjusted his suit coat and reached out for her offered hand. “Thank you for having me his evenin..morning.” stumbled the aging Ambassador. “It's nice to finally meet you in person.” He gave a quick smile and attempted to get his mind back on the business at hand.

“My home office informed me that you wanted to see me this morning. I was pleased to hear of the invitation in hopes that we could discuss future Franco-Austrian relations.”

"Indeed." She'd smile once more. "Please, follow me to my office." She'd gesture to follow as her heels clicked once more through the floors of the foyer as she moved through towards the lifts. "I trust traffic was not bad?" As she waited. She'd enter as the lift doors opened and pressed number two. As they waited once, she'd listen into what the aging Frenchman had to say during the walk to the Office.
They'd arrive, she'd gesture for the Frenchman to enter first. Once he did, the Ambassador would see two Austrian flags holstered on a flag pole and largely decorated brown office. Leather was the comfort of seat. "Would you like me to get you a drink? You must excuse me though, I may be called during this meeting due to what's going on not far from here." She'd gesture to take a seat which was facing her large office chair. Behind her was a window with a beautiful view of Vienna. She'd take a seat, flicking her blonde hair once more.

“You have a beautiful office here, Minister Koller.” Ambassador Cadet said as unbuttoned his suit jacket to take his seat. Minister Koller then offered the Ambassador a drink which he replied, “Yes, I think I’ll have a coffee, black if you don’t mind.” They both sat down as he contemplated what small talk he should use to get the conversation started. “So Minister Koller, what do you think of this whole mess of a situation in Turkey? I fear that our government is but days from declaring war with Turkey and potentially Saudi Arabia as well. What is your governments official stance on the matter?” That should do, he thought to himself. Best not bore this woman with talks of the weather.

"Schwarzer Kaffee und Karamell Latte." The Minister remarked to an aide in German. The aide nodded and went off to make both coffees. She'd sit with her laptop on one side as she listened into what to the Frenchman had to say. "Uhm. I see. Well, the Turks are rather...how'd you say?" She'd thought for a second. "Hungry for war." She'd pause once more as she regained her trail of thought. "What they are currently doing is rather worrying for many across the world and what I fear is a number unnecessary lives at stake at the behest of a rather bloodthirsty regime." By this time the aide with return with two coffees and any additional sugars, if the Frenchman preferred any. She'd stir her coffee and began to take a sip as the aide would leave. "At the moment, we are more or less wanting what's best for Austria. We have been neutral since 1953, I believe. But with what has happened at the Embassy not far from here and what is currently going on further in Turkey, I have strong belief we may slowly break that." She'd pause, thinking about Saudi Arabia. "What is the situation with Saudi Arabia?" She was a little occupied as the news about the bombings would come through on her laptop.

“We have currently ended our diplomatic mission with Turkey. With fears of missile strikes, we also had to evacuate most of our citizens who were visiting Turkey as well.” Ambassador Cadet explained. “As for Saudi Arabia, I’ve heard horrifying reports of eighty thousand civilian deaths alone. Early news reports are saying energy infrastructure was bombed. Something about a damn explosion seems to be the main cause behind the majority of the civilian deaths.” Ambassador Cadet continued. He took a long sip of his coffee before leading into his next question. “Of course, the real question is who perpetrated the Saudi attack?” Ambassador Cadet wondered out loud. “This doesn’t sound like an attack from a Western nation as they would have no doubt targeted at least some of the military assets of the Saudi government. Without knowing who is on which side in this conflict, it's going to make international politics very interesting for some time.”

Once Minister Koller had responded, Ambassador Cadet felt the need to get the conversation steered more towards Franco-Austrian matters. “So let us move back to Europe. What are your administration's goals for Austria in the coming years?” Ambassador Cadet would then finish his marvelous cup of coffee.

Looking through the news of what was going on and keeping up to date. The Minister would reply. "It seems the fingers being pointed at the Congo from the infamous twitter exchange." She'd snigger, before returning serious. "But it looks like they've retaliated towards Israel and more worsening news coming from Turkey, I do wonder what steps are being made to prevent...such disaster." The Minister paused, returning to the second question. "Currently, we are aiming to build the Empire. Not to what was had many years ago. But rather a diplomatic, friendly Empire. We wish to be a forefront in International Relations and more." Vaka
