Subject: Diplomatic Relations

The Government of The Kingdom of Belgium sends its fraternal greetings to The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in solemn reaffirmation of the friendship and solidarity that exists between our two nations.

Furthermore, we would like to discuss the possibility of a mutual assistance and defense pact wherein the respective commercial and geopolitical considerations of our two countries will blend harmoniously in the service of peace and prosperity as well as the balance of power on the continent.

We are looking forward to future correspondence between us as we seek to strengthen our ties with Britain as a means of bolstering Belgium's stability and economic growth.

Following the email from the Belgian Government, objecting to returning an email and engaging in a back-to-back email chain, the Foreign Minister himself, Lawrence Adams, would pick up the phone and call Kristopher Reensma. Advising his secretary it was to discuss their email for opening relations and working together.
The use of a call would be quicker and more productive in comparison with sending emails, it was thought.

Foreign Minister Reensma would open up an encrypted line od communication and would pick up the phone and respond accordingly:

"Greetings your excellency, tis a privilege to establish contact with you at this point in time to discuss diplomatic relations and other matters of importance." He coughed lightly and then continued "my government has requested that I bring up among other matters of discussion, the possibility of securing a trade agreement and a mutual defense pact as means of bolstering economic growth and maintaining the balance of power with Belgium's rights as a neutral being accorded proper recognition."

"Good Morning, Minister" replied the British Secretary, hoisting a cup of tea in his spare hand, taking a gentle sip. Murmuring a quiet "Ahhh" of relief. "It's a pleasure to not only begin speaking with you, but to hear the prospect of working together more closely then our current stance allows. Trade is certainly something we would be happy to engage in, and we'd be keen to see your draft of a Mutual Defence Pact. With that in mind, the floor is yours, where would you like to begin?"

"Good Morning to you as well, Minister the privilege is all mine to have the pleasure of speaking with you. If I may be permitted, let us begin our discussion by accessing the geopolitical climate of Europe along with the potential for joint Anglo-Belgian cooperation to server as a bulwark against foreign aggression. "

Through an encrypted line, Reensma would send his British counterpart a file containing the Treaty

The file would attempt to be opened, receiving a password to access it. "I have just tried opening the treaty but I am been presented with an access denied, could you advise how I will be able to view it?"
