Dear Minister Levy,

Firstly, please allow me to congratulate you on your party's recent electoral success. The Empire of Brazil looks forward to seeing the undoubtedly unprecedented heights Israel will reach under President Weiss' leadership.

Brazil and the Jewish diaspora in general and the State of Israel in particular have a great history. From our support of the Jewish cause during World War 2 which gave us the honor of hosting one of the world's largest Jewish communities outside Israel to our role in the establishment of the State of Israel after World War 2, Brazil has always strived to be a close friend of the Jewish people and one of your people's strongest supporters.

At the request of the Empress Isabella I am reaching out to you to arrange the Empress' first official visit since her rise to the throne. The goal of our visit would be to re-establish formal ties between our two states and find areas to cooperate in; including the cultural, economic and military. If you were to accept our request the Empress would be escorted by myself and the Minister of Defense, Judite Camargo.

If you do not have the time or interest for an official state visit at this time I would like to request to meet with you in person instead.

The State of Israel strongly appreciates the historic ties that have existed between it and the predecessors to the Empire of Brazil, and we strongly welcome a return to friendly relations between our two states. Both for the interests of the Jewish community of Brazil and our shared international interests.

On behalf of President Weiss I hereby extend a formal invitation to Her Imperial Majesty Isabella of Brazil to visit the State of Israel. This invitation also extends to any members the Empress wishes to include in her delegation.
