It has now been nearly ten days since I announced the closing of our embassies. When will you be able to declare that the city of Paris is safe enough? Have you stopped the Yellow-Vest Movement, yet? Or are they in control of your capital?

I request at the least if you cannot guarantee the safety of my diplomatic staff, I ask that you please provide with basic essentials like food and water.

I made sure that a strike was averted and your officials left safely.

I hope you can do the same.
