Dear Prime Minister Löfven,

It is with great pleasure that I right this e-mail to yourself. I am writing this e-mail to begin starting up relations between our two nations, such as a Free Trade Agreement, Trade Routes and other numerous topics that could benefit us on a global sitting. We also have some strong common interests like South American mainly Brazil which we can discuss and hopefully come forward with an agreement which would be best suited for our two nations. I hereby invite you to Canada to speak with myself or I can catch flight to Stockholm and visit you myself!

I look forward to a reply,
Stephen J. Harper
Prime Minister of Canada

With the Prine Minister receiving word to arrive on the 20th, The Prime Minister along with an aide and two unarmed guards would head for Ottawa Internationals Airport taking a flight to Toronto before taking a connecting flight to Zurich before having a stopover for a few hours before taking a final journey to Stockholm. The Prime Minister would arrive on the 20th as stated and would alert the Swedish on the Prime Ministers departure

With the 20th approaching, the Prime Minister along with his aides and two of his security detail would step off the Swiss Airlines Flight LX1248 and exit the brand new Airbus A220 also known as the Bombardier CS3000. They would proceed moving through baggage claim and heading through Boarder Control handing over their Canadian Passports and Diplomatic IDs hopefully passing through without any problems? Once passing through security they would arrive into the arrivals lounge and would notice the small Swedish Security Detail heading over to them and greeting before moving to the car and driving off to the meeting location.

Once the delegation arrive they would be guided through the airport by two police officers, equipped with their usual standard loadout - the Canadians would be guided into awaiting brand new Volvo XC90 and driven the the Executive Office of the Deputy Prime Minister by marked police escort with lights and sirens.

Upon arrival Deputy Prime Minister Romano would be waiting at the doors for the delegation, welcoming them with open arms.

With the vehicle arriving at the Executive Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Stephen would freshen up his tie before exiting the brand new vehicle along with his aide. His security guards would wait with the vehicle outside the building and mingle with the security detail. Stephen would walk up the steps approaching the Deputy Prime Minister extending his hand for a shake "Deputy Prime Minister Romano, thank you for having me on such short notice! It's such a pleasure being in such a wonderful beautiful country" he'd pause before continuing "This is my Aide, Lucy Miller. She'll be taking notes and getting any formal agreements made, if there any brought up in this meeting" Lucy would shake the DPM hand as well, allowing the DPM to speak.

“Welcome to Sweden ladies and gentlemen! Mr Prime Minister, Lucy; it’s a pleasure to meet you both, I hope your long journey was pleasurable? I must say I appreciate you coming over to Sweden whilst we’re going through the rhythms of a new government.”

Asa smiles before inviting the delegation into the warm office.

“The cold is departing however we should go into the warm! Please come inside I’m sure we have much to discuss...”

Stephen and Lucy would share a smile back while heading into the warm office "Of course, the pleasure is all ours. Yes, I have a few topics to hopefully discuss with yourself or if you can point me in the right direction" he'd pausing taking a seat with Lucy taking a seat behind him, pulling out a pad and pen jotting down notes "The Journey was long and pleasure however I hope we can change that after this meeting! Firstly, I'd like to congratulate you and your administration coming into power, although its tough starting up I can see that your administration has done a wonderful start. It is a shame that our nations have to act the way they have however lets hope for strong ties between our nations and a glorious relationship. I propose, that Canada and Sweden start of small and hope for a trade agreement of such? Either a Free Trade or a Trade Agreement with lowered tariffs, which one that suits Sweden between we will be happy with"

“Thank you - I have to say our appointment in power has been an up-hill struggle thus far but I think we’re reaching a peak at which we’re able to manage our outcomes proactively. We’re working hard with the Department for Foreign Affairs and their subsidiaries to amend the international relations set by former governments - promoting our policies and agenda clearly for the world to see in order to make this happen as promptly as possible.

Sweden is at the mouth of nine independent states maritime import/export and our management of the Baltic Sea is one of our most prominent policies - we can definitely look at lowering the tariffs for Canada and perhaps working on our relationship in the future to develop a fair and equal Free Trade Agreement?”

"That is good to hear that Sweden is able to manage the outcomes proactively. That sounds wonderful, we would like to 2% Tariff on Swedish Merchants trading in Canada and in the new future when the relationship is a strong and fruitful one that a fair and free trade agreement can be put in place to replace these tariffs. We placed the tariff low to show our commitment to your administration that we want peace between our nations and a fair trade deal between our merchants!

We also wish to set up trade routes between our nations, but from my understanding Sweden has no trading vessel(s)? However my administration has agreed to lend a vessel or two to Sweden to be able to submit these trade routes to the correct authority. Canada can offer the following materials: Gems, Machinery, Wood, Vehicles and Mineral Fuels? Would Sweden be interested in any of these materials?"

“Yes we’re struggling to find a reasonable supplier to mass produce some vessels for us at an agreed rate - your lending of ships would certainly be appreciated and as a gesture of good will we’d be happy to alleviate the financial burden of tariffs by 4.15% to match your generous lending.

I’m definitely interested in gems, wood and vehicles... In return we’re able to export pharmaceuticals, paper, iron and steel.”

"Great and thank you for the gesture of the lowered tariff of 4.15%. I can have the Wood, Gems and Vehicles to be transported to Sweden, which port of entry would you like us to use and how frequent? Weekly, Bi-Weekly or Monthly? We would happily take Pharmaceuticals, Iron and Steel of your hands and we shall arrange for the MV Landguard, MV Spirit and the MV Enterprise to be at your disposal" Stephen would pause allowing Lucy to hand him a piece of paper of the specifications of the vessel(s). Stephen would look over the piece of paper before handing it to the Swedisn Deputy Prime Minister before continuing "We shall allow you to use these for whatever you need until you have your own resources. I'm afraid I cannot lend you more than three ships but this should give you the helping hand that you need to be able to trade throughout the globe."

“We’d like weekly import/export schedules - you’ll be able to primarily make use of the Port of Gothenburg which is currently the largest port on Swedish mainland. Which port will we be using in Canada May I ask?”

Asa looks over the paperwork in approval, nodding and smiling at the documentation provided.

“I genuinely appreciate your kind gesture with providing these vessels, this is a massive step for Sweden and you have allowed us to participate in the global trade market, something we’re incredibly excited to be involved in. We’re working towards developing our on fleet and in this time we’ll keep in close contact regarding the return of your vessels once we’ve determined a suitable supplier for our own fleet... unless of course you require them back!”

"That can be arranged, and I shall get this arranged for you as soon as I'm back in Canada. Sweden can utilise the Port of Quebec, it is our pleasure to be able to help out a fellow nation that would like to take that step and put their foot in the door to be able to trade. You may keep the vessel(s) as long as you need, Canada is in the middle of procuring more vessel(s) for the future so if you do need more vessel(s) do not hesitate to give us a call and we will be able to certainly help you out!" Stephen would pause allowing Lucy to take notes and information down regarding the trade agreement/route "I've also noticed from experience that there is no direct routes from Canada to Sweden, with the Canadian Administration owning Air Canada and its sub companies, so if I am talking to the wrong person about this please do correct me however I propose that Air Canada can start operating flights from Toronto and Halifax International Airports to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. We would propose, having a flight out and returning the same day on the following day(s) to start of with: Monday, Wednesday and Friday and if the need increases we can add extra times and even more flights per days. How does this sound to you?"

“Oh absolutely, this sounds like a fantastic idea - it’ll certainly cause tourism from North America to skyrocket in Sweden and that can only have a positive economic effect. I will contact Stockholm Arlanda Airport and have them draw up the necessary flight paths and gate changes as appropriate, this should be a done deal as far as I’m concerned though”

"That is great to hear, I am pleased the tourism aspect of our meeting has gone to plan along with the trade meeting." He paused allowing Lucy to take notes regarding plans for Air Canada to expand flights into Stockholm Arlanda "I would like to discuss Diplomatic Missions between our nations, I understand we have embassies in each others nations and I know from recent actions in the globes, a lot of nations are closing the diplomatic missions, so I am wondering if there is anything Canada and Sweden can come together to make sure this doesn't happen between our nations and solidify our relations"

"We have Swedish Ambassador to Canada, Per Sjögren. Our embassy is currently within Ottawa, Toronto."

Ms Romson sips some water before continuing...

"We do intend to distribute bespoke Diplomatic Mission Agreements worldwide as we do not believe the articles set forth in the Global Assembly are sufficient to protect sovereign territory abroad and the 48 hours eviction notice is absolutely not appropriate. There is not a chance you can evacuate your own people in a 48 hour window, even in emergency situations. Are there any specific articles you'd like included in a DPA? Could be to do with security, mailing, emergency service response... remember this agreement does not just protect you for Swedish > Canada disputes... I'm happy to set our local policing obligations in an emergency such as a fire or protests... our commitments in an act of god or if your premises became inaccessible for whatever reason..."

"I totally agree, 48 hours is such a short notice to be able to safely evacuate your staff to safety. On that note, I believe maybe adding in a time limit of minimum 7 days to a maximum of 10 days to be able to safely evacuate staff? This will be able to allow the staff to also advise citizens on necessary actions and steps to take. I'd also like to see something regarding security? The ability to have armed staff however to a certain extent, maybe the Security Guards or in any particular case armed officers to be concealed in Public. Canada is willing to issue the necessary fire arm permits for Swedish Armed Officers to carry side arms, we'd also like to propose that our emergency services when responding to a call have the communication and agreement between our nations to offer the best service where possible.

Canada will also be offering the assistance of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Emergency Response Team, to provide external security along with the dedicated Royal Canadian Mounted Police Diplomatic Protection Group. While I believe I have covered everything that I feel is needed within the DPA, I would also like to see Canada and Sweden have an extradition treaty, this would be the first in the globe to happen, this will also prove to the globe that we both have a zero tolerance on criminals. Although, I will agree for the person to be tried within the said nation to allow judges to decide if they can be extradited or not."
