To the President of the United States of America,

Good day, Mr. Obama,

With the end of the Canadian civil war and my party's victory in the recent Federal elections, I have contacted you to begin a new relationship between the new Canada and the United States of America. Please, let me know how we should interact; whether in person, through phone conversation, or video call.

Thank you and best regards,
Jacob Henderson

Jacob Henderson would answer the encrypted line, being informed he would be speaking to Hillary Clinton.

"Good day, Ms. Clinton," He answered. "I believe that our countries have much to discuss about both recent and future events. However, it would be preferable to determine where our two countries stand with each other. What do you think?"

"Well.. I believe you should go first, as our countries have always been friends in the past. However, you are a new government so I would like to hear your thoughts first."

"That is entirely understandable. The American forces being placed on the Canadian border, along with President Obama himself treating to intervene was quite concerning. However, a civil war on the American border would be quite concerning for American democracy and no Canadian citizen was hurt so I both understand and forgive your decisions."

"But the civil war is over now and Canada is slowly getting back on its feet, with my party being democratically elected into office. My main goal is the benefit of Canada and all of her family. Both Canada and the United States of America began as European colonies, which means we are family."

"Discussion of a continuous economic and militaristic alliance between our two countries would be of the upmost importance."

"Well, an economic alliance is something we very much wish to be involved in. Trade is a very important piece of our lives nowadays. However, a military alliance is something a little more difficult. As you will already be aware, we are already part of an alliance. But, we could enter a sort of Non-Aggression pact-come-defensive alliance. If you so wish?"

"Of course, Ms. Clinton, I apologize I should have elaborated. A non-aggression pact is precisely what I meant, especially to come to ones defense if one of our great nations is threatened. While I don't believe anyone will tempt to attack one of us, we are the beacons of North America and to risk not having each other's best interest in mind would be thoughtless."

"As for our economic alliance; I would like for Canada and the United States to have a free trade agreement. This agreement will lay the foundations for a strong economic growth and rising prosperity for Canada and the United States of America. I plan for this agreement to increase the wealth and competitiveness between the businesses of our nations, delivering real benefits to families, farmers, workers, manufacturers, and consumers."

"Obviously we'll need to discuss this far more in-depth but if this idea suits you then we could begin work on a free trade agreement between Canada and the United States."
