Channel 1 News
National Mexican Media

A woman dressed in a sun dress and a man in a black suit would be sitting behind a podium desk, as the music chimed in and the logo for the local news flashed over the screen.

"Good morning Mexico, this is Channel 1 News, with the National Mexican Media. Today we have many riveting stories for you." The woman said

"That's right Maria, but first the weather, with meteorologist Paul." The man said. The screen would transition to a map of Mexico with temperatures and a man in a blue collared shirt and slacks.

"Thank you Mark, as you can see, temperatures are high across southern Mexico, with temperatures reaching well into the mid 30s. Central Mexico is temperate with temperatures around 20, and Northern Mexico reaching into the 20s and lower 30s. Out west we can see some temperatures around 38. Now back to you Mark."

"Thank you Paul. Looks like another hot day across the country. Today the government has signed a new deal to rebuild coastal tourist areas. Primarily that of Cancun. Officials state it is to increase the flow of tourism. The government is going to rebuild docks, hotels, and many amenities, as well as establishing a new Federal Police Office, to combat the Cartel crimes in the region.

In other news the Mexican Defence Bill got it's first amendment, excluding imports from the Kingdom of Sweden and South Africa. The Government has stated that this ban is temporary during the on going conflict. Mexico has elected to stay out of the conflict but is monitoring the situation carefully. The government has proclaimed that the Rapid Response Battalion to be on standby for possible deployment. Popular opinion remains neutral.

With growing tensions outside the government proclaimed 'exclusion zone' the Federal Government has yet to act. No new crime bill has been established. Many foreigners see this as a restriction of rights, while the government proclaims this zone is for the safety of the tourist and visitors. Mexican citizens are still free to travel the country as they see fit. Now over to sports."
Mark said.

A man wearing athletic gear would appear on screen.
"Good Morning I'm Chris and this is your daily sports update. Starting with Football, Mexico City lost it's game to Juárez, with Juárez winning 2-0. Tijuana came out with a surprising win after a 4 game losing streak to Guadalajara, winning 1-0. Tonight we will see Oaxaca take on Neza. This match up looks to be promising as the 2 top teams go head to head. The bars are sure to be full tonight *Chuckles*, in other news for the world of sports, Boxing, the big fight will showcase two heavy weight champions, Miguel Lupé of Tijuana and Jose Luis Rodríguez of Juárez will fight tonight at the Colosseum in Mexico City, the show will be pay per view. Tickets are sold out. Back to you Maria."

"Thank you Chris." The screen would show Maria. "International developments show that Mexico is in talks with the United States to strengthen it's friendship. Egypt and Argentina are also in talks to strengthen relations with Mexico, and trade deals are being established. Mexico purchased a shipping fleet of 31 vessels from the Republic of Korea. Citizens are showing mixed reviews on this deal, as many believe this took jobs from the citizens in favor of more modern vessels. The government had no comment. Talks with Russia about the growing tensions have also been established. Mexico openly supported the Russian Monarchy and Federal Government to be the official and legitimate government, stating that any other faction to be quote 'a fanatic band of terrorist'. The President compared them to the Cartels. Rumors about a possible 'Latin League' is also being talked about in the Federal Government. All that is known is that Mexico wants to establish closer ties with it's Latin neighbors."

"Thank you all for tuning in. I'm Maria." "And I'm Mark." "And your watching Channel 1 News, Mexican National Media."
They both said together. The screen would then play some cheerful news music and go to a romantic drama show.
