CONFEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT STATES |
Private Communication |
From: CIS Political Board To: Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil |
President Victor Romer, On behalf of the Political Board of the Confederation of Independent States, I am glad to announce and inform you that your request to incorporate the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Confederation of Independent States has been received positively. However, due to structural reasons, we are currently only able to grant your nation the status of Non-CIS Ally. Although this means that Brazil is not formal part of the CIS structure, your nation does have the right to apoint a permanent observer to the CIS Political Board and take part in their deliberations with voice but with no vote. We encourage the Federative Republic of Brazil to further integrate with other CIS Partners and Non-CIS Allies, such as the United Republic of China, wich holds the same status as Brazil. As soon as your Government designates a Permanent Observer, we will give your Government access to the Political Board. Political Board Confederation of Independent States |
The present communication is accesible to all CIS Core Partners |
