"Closure" of Turkish Embassy in Kinshasa

At approximately 6:00 am local time in Kinshasa, a mob gathers around the International Embassy Complex across the street from the Palace of the People. Inside of the complex is the Thai, Turkish, German, and Nigerian Embassies. Police forces and soldiers of the 4th Infantry Regiment would be stationed in front of the Thai, German, and Nigerian embassies, preventing rioters and mob-goers from entering or nearing the premises of these embassies. However, there was a distinctive lack of these precautions in front of the Turkish embassy. Instead, a single Leopard II MBT from the 11th Armored regiment would stand, its cannon angled directly at the building, was standing off against the embassy, and surrounding it were dozens of members of the Royal Lions gang. The leader of the organization, "The Pangolin", brother of the Emperor and the Crown Prince of the Empire, stood atop the tank, hefting an RPG-7 onto his shoulder and scanning the brick facade. Officially, a number of armed gang members had hijacked a tank that had a malfunctioning locking mechanism and had evaded police forces to bring it into action against the Turks. In reality, the tank had been handed over at the army base and had the consent of the government. Of course, this could be easily seen as a thinly veiled assault however, it provided some legal defense. In any sense, the Turks had breached international law first, in multiple instances. There was 50 staff within the building, including 10 security staff. However, they clearly had no clue what was coming. The Leopard II was loaded with M908 Demolition rounds, and the Crown Prince had multiple TBG-7V rockets with him.

The other surrounding gang members took cover behind the tank and other vehicles. Mob goers began to pull back, and the gang members took aim at the Embassy's windows. they were ready for anything. They smiled and laughed, joked, and slapped their knees talking about the devastation that was about to come about. All of the connected embassy's staff would be offered an escort to the Palace of the People if they did not feel safe this close to the Turkish embassy pending its "closure".

A few embassy staff were in the Royal Thai Embassy when a mob gathering happened. It's still early morning for the Thai Foreign Affairs personnel to come to their workplace. Most Thai embassies open between 09.00 to 17.00. That morning, there were three embassy employees and Minister Rangsan Shimma. The Minister would quickly bring his colleague outside if he saw crowds approaching the International Embassy Complex. They keep talking to each other and figure out what is going on. "What in the world again. I thought that early coming would give me peace." They would meet with the police offices and soldiers guarding the embassy. One of the staff would notice something. "Wow, Turkey won everyone hated and attention. Isn't that a tank aiming at the embassy?" He made everyone look at the Turkish embassy. They would astonish to see Gang members rally around the tank. They would keep watching and talking to each other while the Minister would go inside and take the camera outside. He would record the situation around him. They would reject to go to the Palace of People.

Inside the Nigerian Embassy there would be alarm, but not panic after the large contingent of security forces outside the embassy. Only on his third day on the job as ambassador, newly-appointed Akunna Abubakar would tell an aide, "Make an encrypted call to Abuja and notify them of the situation. Also, inform defense minister Bonny so he can make the proper arrangements. After you finish, return to my side." The aide would then dash off. Ambassador Abubakar would then go to his security head.

"Due to the size of the crowd, I know there is nothing you can do in this situation. But, go up to the roof and take some pictures with your digital camera so we can send pictures back to Abuja. bring them back ASAP."

Ambassador Abubakar would make an encrypted call to the Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs.

With Mrs. Okereke, Minister of Foreign affairs, being... out of work... his phone call would be redirected to Muhammed Onwudiwe, Chief of the Army, who served as regent of the Empire while the Emperor was fleeing from the Turks.

Onwudiwe would answer in a cool and collected voice. "Hello, Ambassador Abubakar, how is your morning?"

The Staff of the Embassy were already preparing to leave in their Armored B7 Class Toyota Century Sedans when security staff noticed the sudden presence of a Leopard II Tank, Ironically sold to the Congolese just a few Months Before. Security Staff would line up with MP5 Submachine Guns towards the Windows of the Embassy and stand ready to act if any hostile actions were taken against the Embassy.
All Documents important and/or sensitive would now be deleted or burned and non combat Staff would enter their convoy of armored Vehicles with Turkish flags that would head to the Airport to drop off staff who would then get on a government chartered Aircraft back to Ankara. The Vehicles left behind would be set on fire and left at the airport, except for two vehicles which would return back to the embassy through the Back Gate, away from the protesters and allow for the Security staff to get in and leave the embassy. They would take a separate aircraft as the Chartered A330 would need to departe immediately to ensure the safety of the Staff. This would all be private.

The non-combatant staff that entered their "armored" cars and attempted to exit through the front gate would be stopped in their tracks when the Leopard II, notably one of German origin, fired a single demolition shell at the head car, resulting in a large explosion that carried through and heavily damaged the car behind it. No amount of "ballistic Armor" could stop a demolition shell designed to turn concrete to dust. With two smoldering husks of metal and several dead Turks blocking them, the other cars would be forced to a halt. While the surrounding protestors were recovering from the deafening shockwave, The Pangolin would release his Thermobaeric RPG into a second-story window. Blasting through the glass, the explosive would first use up all oxygen within the floor, creating a vacuum that would cause the Turks' lungs to collapse, followed by a fiery explosion that would burn their bodies severely. While they may survive for a few minutes following the explosion, that time would be spent on the floor, in immense pain, slowly dying from asphyxiation following the total destruction of their lungs. The surrounding gang members would begin to take pot-shots at any visible security staff, as well as at the armored cars, though they would be unable to puncture them. Another group would be loitering around the building's back, including another RPG-7, this one loaded with a traditional explosive charge.

At the airport, a number of infantrymen from the 4th Infantry regiment would storm the tarmac, surrounding the Turkish charter aircraft and demanding that the crew evacuate. If they are Turks, they will be taken prisoner and held at gunpoint before being tied up and tossed in the back of a GAZ-66 for transport to prison. If they are of other nationalities, they will be detained by civilian police for questioning.

(The cars left via the back gate and this can be seen in the actual real life embassy where the parking lot and driveway are in the rear of the building. Assuming the Protesters and tank were in the much more spacious front area/road of the Embassy since the back alley is very hard for a tank to fit into, the Vehicles would escape unharmed to the airport where the A330 would be waiting near the front gate ready fore takeoff. It will be acknowledged though that the RPG-7 was fired into the second story of the Embassy)

The resulting explosion did in fact kill half of the security staff while the other half remained in shock. A few would fire back into the crowd possibly killing a few protesters but they would be in no shape to properly fight back against the Congolese Mob. A communication via radio would be sent by Embassy Security Commander Emir Abdullah to the airport that the Aircraft should make an immediate departure without them as the congolese military was likely rapidly closing in on their location.
Emir would radio to all staff to evacuate the embassy and crawl their way to the back entrance where they could try to make their escape via van, they issue was they did not realize that a group of protesters had assembled behind the embassy with an RPG.

They would look out the back doorway and fire at the Congolese with the RPG-7.

(The Turkish embassy, not being its real-life counterpart but the one mentioned in the establishment email as connected to the Thai embassy, which in my email to them established the complex at about ( 4°20'13.5"S 15°18'12.6"E ), would have 2 readily available entrances, both in the front. Therefore, my first tank directions still stand.)

As previously mentioned, the crowd receded from the area prior to the tank firing, however armed gang members were still out front and two of them sustained injuries from the wounded Turks on the second story. The man holding the RPG by the building's rear would drop down dead, his head blown to pieces by a succession of rifle shots. However, his surrounding gang members would then open fire at the few remaining security staff, scattering and attempting to find cover while laying down suppressive fire. The number of gang members far overwhelmed the Turks, and soon several of the Turks would either be further wounded or dead.

By this point the mob would have significantly thinned out, now about a quarter the size made up of men jeering at the Turks, making demeaning comments about them and their wives. They called for vengeance, and for the honor of Colonel De La Fontaine and Lieutenant-Colonel Lafayette. These civilians were mostly unarmed and maintained a somewhat safe distance from the firefight.

The police and army would take no actions against the gang members or the Turks, however, they would provide medical aid to any civilians either caught in the crossfire or shocked by blasts of the RPG and tank shell. It is worth noting that while there is room in the back of the embassy for people to escape to Triumphal Boulevard, there are not any roads capable of fitting the heavily armored cars, and as such, no back gate exists.

"Well things are a bit interesting," Abubakar would answer, nervously wiping his brow. "First, I would just like to commend you for the effort. The security forces are ample for our protection. I have reached out to my own government and asked them to provide similar security measures in Abuja at the embassy.

I must ask, do you have any intelligence thus far on the demonstration outside and why Nigeria? We have just recently opened new diplomatic ties, and both countries showed their displeasure with Turkey at the Summit. In fact, we were the first to leave.

Either way, do you have any measures in place to evacuate our staff temporally?"

The Cars at the back of the convoy would be destroyed from the gunfire and all of the occupants dead, the security staff would also be killed in the firefight and none would survive.
Word of the atrocities of the Congolese against diplomatic staff which were under diplomatic immunity according to GA/UN charters would spread to Turkey, and enraged protesters and the families called for the heads of the Congolese. Millions of Turks would go to State Social Media Platform gerçek türkiye to protest the Treatment of the Embassy Staff and the hypocrisy of the Congolese government, as they were the ones committing war crimes while Turkey was innocent.

The Aircraft staff were Turkish but the actual aircraft was private so the loss of the A330 was not a bit concerning to the Turkish Government. Additionally all maintenance licenses to the Congolese for Turkish Military equipment would be revoked Immediately and Congolese Peoples banned from Turkey.

"We thank you for your concern for our diplomatic staff in Nigeria. As for the demonstration, rest assured it is in no way directed towards you. As you may have noticed, your embassy is in a complex of four separate embassies (Nigeria, Turkey, Germany, and Thailand). Due to the close proximity of these buildings and the violent nature of the gathering in front of the Turkish embassy, we thought that it would be safest for all representatives if we provided them with guards. We do know however that the armed men not bearing military uniforms are in fact members of the Royal Lions, a gang run by the Crown Prince, and made up of remnants of the forces that liberated the Congo from its previous dictator.

They are staunch royalists, and for the most part, will respect the Emperor's will, so you should be safe around them. We will however provide you with either a soft skin truck or if requested a BMP-1 evacuation convoy that can arrive at the embassy in less than a half-hour. We should be able to safely evacuate your entire staff to either the Palace of the people or alternatively, the city's international airport, where you can exit the nation until hostilities have calmed."

The Ballistic protection level 7 armor applied to the Turkish cars would be capable of stopping the gangster's rifle shots, and so the majority of the Embassy staff would remain alive yet trapped. The gangsters would close in on the cars, tapping the barrels of their AK-47s against the windows, smiling in at the terrified Turks. At this point, the Leopard II would drive off onto a side street, where the crew would be exchanged for a government crew who would report the vehicle as having been peacefully recovered before returning it to the military base outside of the city. The gangsters would set up sentries around the vehicles and would purchase food from nearby shops to eat while they waited for the 30 or so Turks to surrender and exit their vehicles. As added psychological warfare, the dead from the building would be dragged out and laid out across the windshields of the vehicles, face down, exposing the occupants to the horrifically burned faces of the security staff. On the roof of the front car, the soldiers would start a small fire, cooking dinner atop it as the car slowly heated up. It would be allowed to become hot enough to stress out the occupants, but not hot enough to kill them.

The number of gangsters would dwindle, about 20 being left to supervise the "siege". It would be widely reported on Congolese media as an action by the people of the Congo in retaliation for the killings of innocent Congolese troops, Jewish Turks, and the attempted imprisonment of their own Emperor on a diplomatic mission to Turkey.

Knowing what could be in store for them the Turks would wait the Congolese out, in fact the vehicles already had food and water as the Toyota’s were luxury Vehicles After all and there was a small fridge inside. Each of the 7 cars had six occupants inside and each vehicle would have a Yavuz 16 Handgun stored in the center console for the driver. They also were equipped with radios which would be used to communicate back and forth. For now the occupants would wait it out.

Congolese police and military personnel would simply look on, themselves enjoying lunch and drinks, some conversing with the gangsters, having served in the CPG together during the liberation effort. The gangsters would be in no hurry, hanging around the cars, one man for each car would be behind cover, gun trained on the windows, but there were plenty of others simply loitering around. One would take a selfie with one of the Turks through the glass.

The Diplomatic Staff would take out their Samsung SCH-V200 cameras and begin to take photos and videos of the scene at the embassy, they would take photos of the bodies, the fire outside, and the Congolese armed forces who were assisting the gang members. These photos and videos would be sent back to Turkey where they would be widely distributed by the Media as propaganda but also for the official media accounts of Turkey which will show just how horrible the autocratic Congolese government is.

Protestors would begin to gather around again, this time holding large framed pictures of those who had died in Turkey, sons and daughters of those protesting who were meaninglessly slaughtered. Buckets of black paint were brought forth, spilled over the windshields and windows of the cars, blacking out their view of the outside world. Men with pipes would beat against the body of the vehicles, creating a head-spinning racket. Once they were blacked out, the gangsters would stop up the exhaust pipes with mud and cloth and whatever they could get their hands on, releasing carbon dioxide gas into the cars if they were to remain running. If the cars were shut off, so would be the lights and air conditioning.

Three embassy staff and Minister Rangsan Shimma have a conversation with each other. They are thinking about what they should do other than standing and watching. While Rangsan zooms in the camera at the protester rally, ambassador Sopa arrives at the embassy. She is with two other staff and will complain. "Nop, you know how I don't like the protest." She turns to the counselor and giggles. Noppadon would talk to the Minister group and raise an idea. "Hey, let us have attended." They look at him. Rangsan group is less courageous to do something more than commend and take a video. Rangsan walks toward him while chuckling. "What do you have in mind this time? You will surely ace the evaluation test, won't you?" Every laugh since he always gives unexpected advice. Noppadon tells everyone to follow him inside. Rangsan stays outside to continue recording. They walk to the storage room, and Noppadon starts bringing out a wide board and Colorful Pens. "Let's show the support to the innocent people who died in Turkey!" He then starts to explain what to do. The embassy staff follows his plan to decorate the board. They come out with texts on it after five minutes. The embassy staff carries a staircase outside. And place it next to the building's front wall. The staffs claim up and hang the board. The text would say;

"Your action demonstrates, being not human, so be it animal.

TO THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT."

The Thai embassy would be greeted with cheers from the small crowd and gangsters, some of which would treat the Thai to drinks, bringing them over and handing them to the embassy staff. After several days, the gangsters would tire of waiting for a response from the Turks inside. Assuming they were still alive, they were expected to surrender. If no response would be given, a blow torch would be brought up, and work would begin to open the doors and windows.

At this point the starving occupants of the cars would decide that the best course of action was to give up. One by one the occupants would open the doors with their hands up, leaving their firearms in the cars in order to not provoke the Congolese. The diplomats would had not eaten in over a week and were relying on the ice from an electric cooler inside the limos but the car battery had finally died and now not a drop was available for the parched men. Ambassador Elif Comoglu Ulgen would exit his vehicle In a black suit and raise his hands. Speaking in French, he would request political asylum due to his status as a high ranking Turkish official with detailed knowledge of the inner workings of Turkey. He would yell to the Africans that if they so much as touched him, they would be in violation of international law.
The Diplomats would await the Congolese Reaction.

As the Turks exited their cars, a thundering series of booms would go off in the distance, and a shockwave of hot air and debris would blow overhead, shaking the ground and buildings around them. A massive cloud of dark black smoke would rise from the direction of the city's international airport. The gangsters would swarm the diplomats, guns raised, ordering them onto their knees where they would then be tied up at the ankles, wrists, and mouth. They would all be loaded into the beds of civilian pickup trucks with their captors and driven out into the Jungle...

Once several hours had passed, the Turks would be dumped into a pre-prepared pit about fourteen feet deep and twenty in diameter. A short barbed wire-topped fence would surround the lip of the pit, and armed gangsters would stand ready to shoot them if they attempted to escape. As they were dumped in, their restraints would be removed. Below waited several gallons of water as well as cans of processed meat and some citrus fruits. Every subsequent night, four gallons of water would be lowered in. Floodlights would look into the pit 24/7, but the guards would stand in shelters that blocked the light from reaching their masked faces. There was no roof, and all cold rain and the burning sun would make it directly to the prisoners. In the worst of rains, the pit would flood up to waist height, forcing all of the prisoners to stay awake until their guards would lower buckets to drain it. This would continue for a week's time before a GAZ-66 from the 4th Infantry Regiment would roll into the clearing early one night. The lights were shut off, and a dozen infantrymen would climb into the pit and wrestle the prisoners up a ladder to be loaded into the back of the truck.

The prisoners would be transported to yet another location, blindfolded, before being cleaned up in the shower and dressed in black suits. The soldiers guarding them would have their faces and unit patches covered up. After this, they would be walked into a well-lit conference room. Waiting ahead of them was a black man in a white suit, a small plaque on the table proclaiming his name to be Bintu. He would stand up from the table and stick his hand out to the shocked and well-beaten Ambassador.

"Hello, Turk. We have some questions for you. We have finally rescued you from the gangsters who took you captive. After these are answered, you can be interred in a nice house until the war has subsided and you can be flown back to your home country. Does this sound desirable?"
