Dear Secretary Price,

I am contacting you in order to formalise relations between New Zealand and the United States. Our nations share a long, connected history, from British colonisation to World War 2, and the subsequent ANZUS treaty. The New Zealand government and I wish to re-establish and improve upon these relations, with the creation of mutual embassies in each other's capital cities as a first step in re-enabling joint dialogues around mutual issues like the economy and trade. I look forward to building the diplomatic relations that is crucial for my nation.
