It's a fairly regular occurrence that people attempt to produce equipment that sit outside of the 1999 commission period, whether by mistake or intentionally - and in many cases, with information regarding some equipment being few and far between, we have to use our discretion of staff to determine which date is the most appropriate for products entering commission, making it even more difficult for players (especially those that're new to the rules) recognising what they can and cannot produce.
From a Moderators point-of-view it's incredibly time consuming finding commissioning date for some equipment when Quality Assuring productions which is unnecessary time lost.
A simple solution. Addition of a column on the catalogue simply with the date of recognised commissioning.
To add this to the current new catalogue would be a simple process considering the relatively small amount of equipment transferred, and future products would have this added as part of the usual processing.
